My name comes from Saving Private Ryan. (The Medic) I just found out about WWII Airsoft a few months ago. I'm too young to join so you probably won't see me on the field for a few years. When I do join I want to join the 2nd Rangers. 9th SS is cool too, but for me it's America all the way. For my guns I would like a Marushin M1 Garand and a TM M1911A1 (and a dummy bayonet if I ever find one) I've been playing airsoft for a year now and really love it, and I'm not to bad at it either, heck, my tactical skills are very advanced for someone my age. (I don't mean t brag though) Well, that's me.
i started playing airsoft when i bought my first airsoft gun, a tm thompson, now i have added to my arsonal a tm m1911a1 pistol gbb, and hope to add a mg42 gbb and a marushin m1 garande gbb this winter. i have tried 3 times to create a account here but i have yet to recieve a email. could a moderator email me my activation code please???
um well ive been quite busy and i havent had any time to spend with my ol ww2 airsoft group BUT coming into my senoir year and having to go to boot camp after i graduate and then go to college i wanna really give it my all and go to as many events as possible, as well as assist in any way i can. I still got loads of standardized tests i have to take and a stack of college applications that i need to fill out, but like i said i up to the challenge. I was there in the beginning back with Sammy (gordak) and Redleg and i know how much fun it can be and i know we can really show our worth as a association.
I fully intend on coming to the october game
if you have any other questions about me
shoot me a PM
"When I get home people 'll ask me, "Hey Hoot, why do ya do it man? Why? Just some war junkie?" Ya know what I'll say? I won't say a goddamn word. Why? They won't understand. They won't understand why we do it. They won't understand that it's about the men next to you, and that's it. That's all it is." - Hoot (BlackHawk Down)

Hey whats up guys. My name is Bill and I'm a new WW2 airsofter reporting for duty. Im from Dartmouth, MA. Been playing airsoft for a few years, was a civil war reenactor before that for a while and an avid fan of history. Ive been wanting to do some WW2 airsoft for a while. I did some NAM airsoft and that further phsyced me up to do WW2. I am pleased to have found a serious group of WW2 airsofters. I have been throwing around ideas with some of the guys I play airsoft with regularly who also reenact WW2 with blanks and we hope soon to be fielding an US regular Infantry unit of the ETO 1944-1945 period. Still uncertain of which divison and whatnot. In any case if that doesn't work I will be in the market for a unit to join. Just bought a TM Thompson (wanted a garand but had little money) Working on putting together a US Infantry impression. Looking forward to getting in the action.

hey all i have been looking into ww2as and i am really interested in getting it going
name Justin Sharratt
Location Camp Pendleton CA homes South Bend IN and Canonsburg PA long story there
Occupation Currently In the Marine Corps 0311\Infantry i was with the unit 3\1 for 2 combat deployments to iraq and now i have just 9 more months till i move on and go to college. My self and a few other marines have made a small team out here and we play against civillians but i have always been a ww2 buff and i have always wanted to do something like this so as soon as I relocate myself to the east i will be on deck to get it going
Weapons M4 Marui Thompson Top M249 SAW WA 1911 x2 VP-70 Marui DE thats it for now
Uniform I do have a 2nd rangers uniform back home i haven't used it in years but besides that i would like to get a 101st going besides all my other cammies i have.
I've recently moved to Indianapolis after returning from Iraq. I have done many years of reenacting, mostly Russian, and have done airsoft for a few years down in Texas and now here. I am intrested in getting the two hobbies on line, so to speak. I have a full impression of US Airborne (both 82nd and 101st...don't ask) as well as herringbones. Without saying, more RKKA crap that you can shake a stick at. I am looking for a US Airborne unit in the area, or someone else in the area to form a new unit (squad) of an existing unit.
We also have an established Russian Airborne (modern) Airsoft team going on down here, Looking into beginning a WWII Russian team, and hope to be hosting games in the very near future.
Any information you can share would be greatfully recieved.

Haha. So here I was cruising the forum since I'm bored and I come to find out I never introduced myself! LOL. So here it goes
Name: Dustin Burian
Nickname: Napalm and Bull (apparently I look like Bull Randleman from BoB)
Location: Edwardsville, IL (Southern IL, 20 miles East of St Louis, MO)
Weapon: TM M1A1 Thompson, WA SCW2 M1911A1
Impression: 2/502nd, 101st AB
Now a little about myself. I'm currently enlisted in the Army National Guard here in IL as an Infantryman. I'm going on my 3 year mark of service. I've still got many more to go (career soldier here). I've always been interested in WWII but have reenacted War of 1812 for almost 4 years now. I begin playing airsoft back in 2001 and I absolutely love the sport. I've got many impressions but as of late I've been working on my WWII stuff. Come next spring I'll be taking the plunge into reenacting. I've learned quite a bit from reading the old posts here and I hope to make my contributions where I can. Hopefully in the near future I can make my way up to one of the games near Chicago.
AKA Kermit on most of the UK Airsoft forums, with the exception of Arnies (QQexDERA on there) Known as Heinz on WWIIreenacting and Panzergrenadier.net
Location: Sandhurst, Berkshire (30 miles from London)
Weapons: 2 x K98k's (one in dire need of an overhaul), 2 x P38's, 2 x Luger P08's, TOP MP40 and PGC gearbox, and an Ultima MG3 thats being converted back to an MG42
Impression: Late war FJR6 Jager and HG Division.
Suppose I ought to give a Bio. Im a scientist in the defence industry, nothing interesting, just routine boring crap. Im a member of a UK based FJR6 re-enactment group. I also do an HG Division impression as well. I used to run an Airsoft site, and i've sold all my modern US kit because Im bored with MOLLE, M4's and MICH's. I like good beer and bad women, and have an annoying habit of destroying cars From a historical side, i had relatives fighting on both sides at Arnhem! (im half Jerry)
Oh, and i've been doing Airsoft so long i can remember the first L&S and Academy airsoft gun kits hitting the shelves :s (god, that makes me feel old!)
Since none of the other Senior Staff have had a chance to do it recently,

Indeed! It was great to see you and Blake at the event! I never would have guessed how close you guys are to me. We are like 5 blocks away from eachother! I can't wait for the upcoming events, and getting to see everybody at the event again. Also, thank you for your contributions and gun loans. You had an amazing Arsenal. Welcome aboard!
CPL. Mills 2nd Rangers: HIKI is good if your on a budget. The uniforms are cheap, and that will be pretty obvious when you get your hands on it. The sizing is off, might want to order one size up from what you wear. I bought pants from them, I needed to get 2x my normal size

suomifinn: Hikishop is legit. I use them for my Finnish impression. Some of the stuff can be off in terms of accuracy, easily fixable though. For the price it's hard to beat. Great for more obscure countries.
