My name is Chris, originally from the UK where I used to do re-enactments for many years using blanks but took a 10 year break & am now more than ready to get back into it with airsoft weapons.live in Texas so will probably go for an Afrika Korp because it's just too bloody hot to do anything else!! Doesn't seem that popular here in Texas but I plan to touch base with the people at Temple airsoft dispite it being almost a 3 hr drive.anyone who has contacts that do airsoft here in Texas please put us in contact, pleasure to join you guys!!

Hello! I'm from Germany and have been in Reenactment/Airsoft for a couple of years. Started with a US impression but quit that a few years ago. Currently, I'm (slowly, step by step^^) working on an Australian Impression Cheerz

Welcome to all our new members. 118 new sign ins just in the last several months. Great to have you on the site. Look forward to meeting as many of you as possible at assorted events. It's interesting to note that there are 28,000 posts in this thread and while not all refect new members and many folks in this hobby come and go this site has clearly resonated with a lot of people.
Let's all continue to do what we can to grow this community. I have to say that a better nicer group of folks than the people I have met here, doesn't exist.

Hello all! I am a student from Ohio who has been playing airsoft for around six years, and got into impressions about three years ago. Most of my collection is in the cold war, but I have spread out to modern equipment and obviously WW2. I have a basically complete Soviet infantry kit (Meshok is later type, haven't modified it because I use it with my Motor Rifles impression) and am anxiously waiting for a Eastern Front event too pop up sometime soon!

awesome! Thanks for joining. We'd love of course to learn more about your vehicles. One of the original organizers for this web site is curator for the Armored Museum of New England in Danbury Connecticut here in the US. (Gordak)

Yeah Our Muesum is mostly orientated arround the swiss military. We have the complete swiss tank series and every other tank used by the swiss military till 1980~, as we dont have the Leopard 2. We also have most the aa`s and most of the field infantry cannons and their designated towing truck. As we collect more vehicles, we restore them by ourselves to fully working condition. If i have time, i surly will do a new thread with pics of the most things, as it is really to much to photos on ^^ and im not the best photographer ... But i think i should be able to do photos of most things, or those that are requested.

Howdy!
I guess it all started for me when my older cousin who was USMC got me involved with paintball in the 90’s. It never liked the guns or the paint. So my search began for something better. I found and became a dealer for RAM .43 cal shell ejecting paintball guns. Which the Carbine functioned great but the paintballs themselves were horrific and unuseable. They had the flight characteristics of a egg and broke about as often. I ordered a Classic Army M16a3 off of eBay and never looked back.
Co founded the Spokane Devil Dogs and Spokane Airsoft in around 2000. First major Op we attended was Gallant Saber 1 hosted by the Puget Sound Airsoft Command which 2nd Bat was apart of. 2nd Bat as far as I’m concerned IS the father of milsim Airsoft in the US. I had a woods paintball mentality back then....all force on force capture the flag stuff. PSAC had military vehicles and radio stations playing fictional news and propaganda and 3rd party actors who were villagers that wore flowery clothing. LOL. Amazing stuff! Oh and hidden speaker playing jungle sounds!
We grew as a community and a team for about ten years. Spokane Airsoft grew into about 5-6 organized teams. I had also helped a friend I had met from California who was a recon Marine start the Marine Corps Historical Association somewhere around 2008. When I met him he was focusing on USMC Vietnam impressions both grunt and recon. He would take 6 man recon patrols armed with Airsoft guns and gear to local high schools in the Bay Area as a show and tell! Impressive! We also hosted Basic Recon School for two years at my ranch. And I also attended 2nd Bat’s Recondo school in 2010. Around this time I also participated with Army Group 44 out of Spokane just a touch. They were all blank fire and I never got fully up to speed with them. We had one tactical event at the ranch.
Then came my heart attack and the last 7 years in the Bakken oilfield getting back on top of things financially. Heart attack’s and med star flights are very expensive! LOL. Back home now, and revived the Spokane Devil Dogs and we decided to start doing Cowboy Airsoft stuff last spring.
Spokane Airsoft has reorganized into Pegasus Milsim after I left. Owned by a USMC veteran now and he sometimes hosts events at my ranch. Great guy!
Glad to be here!

Hello there friends. im NEW here. ive been playing airsoft for maybe five years now and im more in tune with historical airsoft than modern day stuff (which i have). As far as WW2 goes...im building several loadouts. Two german ones (Panzer Waffen SS and Kreigsmarine) and possibly several US ones (Infantry, Airborne, Tanker and Navy sailor). i currently have a AGM MP40, Thompson M1A1 and a springer 1911 (for looks). im slowly building these uniforms up to game ready. im kinda on the cheap side and always on the look out for shortcuts and cheats since id hate to ruin reenactment quality gear and uniforms. This forum seems very quiet (wont Patton be mad) but i hope to find good guys here and maybe thepossibility of playing with you.

Wow small world. I see where Liberty Canyon is again being held I think next month and is expecting 120 players. It will be held on a spectacular huge field up in Vermont that has a firebase and all kinds of cool stuff.
I will be going if my work schedule allows it.

Not sure if I introduced myself when I first heard about the association about 2 years ago. I fell off a bit due to losing my job but I've bounced back. I got myself a few real milsurp rifles, but like you guys say, the flaw in shooting blanks is it lacks the "hit" aspect.. I'm from the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania so count me in for a bunch of East Coast stuff! I just bought a Kar98 off of Dracul and slapped together a German uniform from ATF and the Reading Airshow, I need a few things but Sarco isn't that far away from me, so I'll be getting a few of my dollars!! I have a buddy whos into WW2 and airsoft as well whos getting a uniform together and I'll definitely send him here. Hope to see you guys out there!
