Erzatz, thats true, forgot about the armored car! Germans are definatly have cool looking equipment. I think you could get a pretty good SS Impression at a low cost. When you say "I plan on joining the marines (actually going to boot camp) " Your joining the real Marines and what do you mean by" about 8 months after I land there" 8 monthes after you land where? Yes I am planning on joining the "real marines". I need time to adjust to life back in the sates that is why I am planning on waiting a while after I land in the US before I actually sign up. It will be timed to that I can visit my parents snd younger sibs (who will be making a trip back to the US around that time) on my 10 day boot leave. That is why it is kind of a random #: 8 months Click

Nice to hear that you'll be in our neck of the woods in a year's time, click. Game on. Beer on Not sure if anybody posted the link yet, but the MOA's site is here: www.ostfrontairsoft.comWe do Heer and Russian mainly, but we also have some close pards that do 2nd Ranger and there are other local American impressions that I haven't met yet. The Russian impression really is cool, and I'm thinking of getting Soviet kit myself fairly soon so that I can play either side. We try to discourage SS and Airborne impressions, mainly because they are over done. Still, it doesn't really matter what impression you pursue, as you will always be welcome to games regardless of scenario. Keep us posted and let us know if you have any questions. -Udo

Well it isn't finalized and prolly wont be until at least this fall or winter. But yeah I am excited. Ostfront always interested me. Particularly because both sides had very different tactics and it was always interesting to me to see them pit against each other. I really hope that I will have time to ww2 airsoft. I need to find a job, perhaps apply for school, and a buttload of other things (among which is get my license ) And have money left over. And I am glad that you dont do Airborne or SS I agree about the overdoneness of those two factions. To be honest I will most likely do Heer. But we will see, I bet that when I see those Ruskie's uniforms up close, I will HAVE to get one too Click

All sounds good, if you want to keep a tight budget, then playing the Russian is the best way to go. Although if you are going to do a Russian impression, you must get one of Gryphon's PPSH, they're enough to switch sides... ...I mean for the Fatherland!!!

Hehe. Funny that you mention using a PPSh as a German. I just ordered my PPSh from Gryphon about three weeks ago. I'm anxiously awaiting it's arrival for my German Unteroffizier's impression. That reminds me, I need to order a sling
