The UK is $56.00. France and Spain is $60.00 , Norway $62.00 Finland is $64.00 and Russia $64.00. I've also done Holland and Belgium. Thus far my only problem with restrictions on fully finished guns has been Canada, New Zealand and Japan. I haven't sent any to South or Central America I know there is an avid airsoft community on Brazil but thus far no sales.

I know it's a lot to read five pages of posts in a thread but the price is still $560.00 USD plus shipping for the AGM based rifle and $750.00 plus shipping for the Marui based rifle. I will build 8 more rifles and then I will have completed my 100 promised conversions. After that the price will increase as I simply don't have the time it takes to keep up with orders and still work on other projects.

I sold the Garand, it ended up on the west coast, which is far away from me, I'd hoped some on the club would buy it but no one did.

I hope you made a ton of money on it or at least busted out of the money it cost you. It's a pity it's not someone you know and get to side with in a skirmish. I just shipped out a few more and now have pending deliveries to Hawaii and two more to Finland. I should have them done and out along with this marathon Springfield custom in the next two weeks or so.
Very few more to do after that to hit my hundred. Then it's on to my next project.

The Springfields are $750.00. They are all wood and use a great deal of Springfield original parts. They shoot at 420 FPS are spring powered and can be cocked at the shoulder with a very nice bolt action. They are available in the traditional M1903A1 style with ladder site or the M1903A3 with peep site. The customer can select their wood shade although Dark Walnut is most common and most appropriate for a WW2 military rifle. The metal comes in a medium parkerized shade.

But hey, maybe the guy who bought Gunfreak's Garand is doing a 70's National guard impression. grinch: You can find all the necessary info on 2ndbat's Springfields and Garands by searching the forum, they can be found rather easily too. Come on, it doesn't take THAT much of your time...

Unfortunately my Photobucket account got shuffled (I share it with my son) so currently all my photo links have disappeared. I will try to get them caught up this week. In the meantime if some one needs photos on anything just PM me with your direct e-mail and I will shoot pictures off to you.

Here's a nice comment from my first customer in Hawaii!
John, The Garand just arrived. All I have to say is, this thing is a work of art. This just fulfilled one of my dreams for airsoft. A skirmishable M1. Thank you, Chris

can somebody explain to me the bolting the muzzle onto the gas reservoir? I'm trying to figure it out, but it seems like it would still be wobbly. What's the best method? Any help is appreciated.

I just have a few questions to ask people.
#1- Do these 2nd bat customs still take a bayonet? I dont have a picture that clearly shows.
#2- Do they still fire full and semi auto, or are they made to only fire semi?
thank you.

Still select-fire. Semi and full. I don't know about the bayonet, since my bayonet is not here yet But it looks like it should.

It uses the complete front end assembly from it's real steel counterpart, I see no reason why it wouldn't fit a bayonet. There was a picture of it with one of the www.thefieldwerks.com rubber bayonets on it.

A real bayonet works fine altough make double sure the release mechanism is fully functional (alot of them aren't) Otherwise you'll find yourself permanently fixed bayonets! The rubber bayonets also work fine although you do have to file out the circle mount a tiny bit.

I'm afraid I got way behind on Garand production for the remaining rifles I have scheduled. I was hoping they'd be done and shipped by the end of November but need to push that back to the first week of December. An unscheduled business trip, The trip to Hac Bao and the Thanksgiving holiday yanked away my attention. I did finally however get the latest Russian rifle shipped (Partially disassembled as they wouldn't allow a box longer then 40 inches!) I also shipped the first of three Finland rifles that are due and have two domestic rifles to complete and get shipped. Hayz and Chadwik. These are well started however. Finally there is another going to Spain which exceeds my 100 gun limit but the fellow was very insistent.
It feels good to finish them but it's kind of sad shipping them off. I'm hoping to get one last large group picture as there is a lot of diversity in finishes. In addition I have two more orders for custom Springfields and a sold Springfield to fix.

new problem... when i brought my garand out to the Midwest event, I encountered a major problem. The gun was shooting fine originally, but after several shots, the gun made some really weird noises. It didn't sound like anything was breaking, but the shots could still be heard, like you could hear the gears moving, but it almost sounded watered down and was very muffled. It sounded as though the gear box was slipping or somthing. Help?

Did you try another battery? Which base gun was yours? I'm afraid I don't have easy to access records on who bought which style.

His was the Marui M14, and yes we tried another battery. I was going to try tightening the motor mount screws as the motor sounded to be slipping. Though as i was already working on another m14 there it was kind of hard and we just plain ran out of time. I does sound though that the motor was slipping, and i had that problem with my gun if all the screws aren't tight enough. -Cary

Delighted to hear it's the Marui or one of the Marui Clones as they would be far easier to facilitate repairs on then the G&G or the Airsoft Club. The tiny hole at the base of the stock handle is there to insert a hex wrench for motor adjustments. I've actually never had to do it but hopefully that's all that's wrong with your gun.
There's is nothing on my conversion that would in and of itself alter the alighnment and layout of the internals at all.
