Well I really need your help guys ! My favorite Gun the Garand isn't working properly anymore.
When I try to fill the Gas tank the gas is leaking somewhere quite badly. Of course i don't forget to cock the Gun before i try to fill it with Gaz. But for some reason it is just like if the gas wasn't staying at all in the gaz tank.
I have my first WW2 Airsoft impression this weekend and i don't want to use my Thompson I want to have fun with the Garand !

take it apart and check the seals. put water mixed with dish soap on anything u think is leaking, if it leaks, it will bubble.

What kind of gas have you been using? you should only use HFC134A, it is what the gun was made to use.
if your using Green gas, its to powerfull and will blow your seals.

Well i'm using Greengaz, it's the most comon gaz over here(I reversed the Overflow valve recently). There is also the American Eagle Brand but i don't know if it's HFC134a

It wasn't made for green gas, so that might be your problem...

Try spraying silicone oil into the valve itself the higher power gas can dry out o rings making them smaller creating leaks or there is debris around the rings, oiling it will re moisten your o rings hopefully resealing the valves and help clear any debris. also spray some into the upper valve if you are having trouble with the valve sticking.

The problem is fixed, i followed your ideas. Also I know lock the bolt before loading gas. (like when you try to put a clip in)

you are going ot have to remove the firing valve from the reciever.
these are behind some large brass screws sealed with O-rings. If you dont have enough lube on the O-ring, it will dislodge and cause this problem.
If you need clarification, I can post pictures of me repairing this problem
