Hi all
The thread name simply says it all. The empty clips won`t eject. The bolt doesn`t seem to want to slide back/hard enough to eject the clip. But when I do it manually, all clips go out like a charm so I don`t think it`s the springs in the clips.
Also the hop-up doesn`t seem to function good enough. Neither do I have the manual to find out how to dissasemble the front grips so I can get to the barrel itself.
Any suggestions?

In short order the springs inside the clips no longer have the power to elject the clips so on top of the usual challenges you're now having to pull them out before you can reload. You can of course minimize this somewhat by always being sure you don't leave the clips loaded for long periods of time especially not over night. Other than that possibly important info, it sounds like you bought a used gun seeing as how you dont have a manual. Maybe the previous owner used green gas in it, but i dont know if that would really effect the clips as the gas goes inside the gun i believe.

Could be that some of the many hidden screws have worked their way a bit loose putting the action slightly out of tolerances. Or the gun needs lubrication. This guns tolerances are not at all forgiving!
Also the clips lose their ability to eject fairly quickly (based on my experience) especially if you leave them in the gun for a while or leave them loaded. All part and parcel to the frustrations of this guns marvelous but very complex system. The manual wasn't any help frankly with any of the challenges I faced with this model. Anyone else have some thoughts? I know there are guys who have really learned the intricate ins and outs of these guns but I sure never got there and both the guns I had frankly made me crazy. It's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.

Yeah, the Marushin M1 Garand is a gun you have to treat well for it to treat you well. Something I learned long before I purchased this gun. The thing is when I manually eject the clips they fly up just as they should. It seems like the 134a gas doesnt power the bolt enough to go entirely back for the bolt safety to go forward so the clip can be ejected. Perhaps the Bolt safety spring? The previous owner of the Garand said he used it in 2 skirmishes, and some target practice. I have every right to trust him, as he was one of those which brought ww2 themed airsoft to Norway. He will be sending the manual and the hop-up when he gets back home, which could be a while. In any case, I don`t know the Garand well enough to know what is wrong with it. And the manual is certainly the key word here. If anyone has any suggestions. My ears are open to suggestions. Thank you for the suggestions given thus far, allthough not the correct ones (No offense.) I still appreciate it

There is small catch sping in the clip that ceases to operate consistently in the clips shortly after you start using it. If you have other enblock clips try one of them.
Another thought. Are you using it in colder weather? If so the gas probably won't be powerful enough to throw it quite far enough back. I used both 134 and Greengas in mine (in moderate weather) and found the 134 only performed decently in fairly warm weather 75 degree F or above. Colder then that and I needed green gas for it to only suck as a performing weapon. (As compared to not work at all) It really is in my opinion just a plinker and a frustrating one at that. I know that seems like a self serving comment since I sell Garand AEGs but I want to hear other people jump in and explain why my opinion is wrong. Help this man out so he can enjoy his Gas Marushin M1 Garand.

I clearly understand your own frustrations with Marushin M1 Garand, if I understand correctly, you owned 2 of them, and they were nothing but trouble. And I was so sorry to hear about that, yet happy when you got a working garand by modifying a M14 Atleast you have a working and competitive garand, and thats not bad considering you had to make it all by yourself I have 10 clips all together, And I will try each and every one of them. Allthough my guess is theres something not right with the mechanism. Have a nice day sir. God bless Edit: I had some silicone grease on the bolt safety (I found out the spring didnt push it back as it ordinary would, I think it was because of the locktite.) And I adjusted the hopup. And fired the gun again, and the part no.45 simply just broke.. The long screw wasnt THAT loose on it.. And no airsoft stores sells them, and Marushin doesnt even seem to have a email adress with all their hokus pokus talk on their site (No offense.) Every dream I had about ww2 airsoft this summer is throughoutly smashed. Not only am I sad for loosing this beautiful piece to the destiny (The loose screw, and no certainty when I will get a new No.45.) And I dont have money for a single more airsoft gun. But after staying up all night to atleast trying to dismantle this gun and not even being able to dismantle A SINGLE PART AT ALL, exept the grey ones. Just makes me wanna go over to asia and show them how to make airsofts and good customer service in GOOD PLAIN OLD ENGLISH. With frustrations RvH

That's a shame and I can only imagine how dissapointed you must be. While I loved the gun conceptially, as soon as I got mine and started experiencing the frustrations I knew I had to get rid of them. The good news is it inspired me to make the AEG conversions which are frankly not as cool as the Marushin in authenticity but work flawlessly and look 90% as good. (In some ways better)
There are folks on this board who have sourced part 45 so they might help you discover how to order them. Good luck my friend.

Yeah, the part was found at arms airsoft, and I ofcourse ordered immediatly. I am hoping to get it atleast next week. In any case, the difficulty of even opening the gun to replace the part is my main concern. While the threat that the part may very well be ruined relatively quick just because i adjust the hop-up, is in second place. third place is, the bolt safety doesnt go back and forth like it should, even though the spring for it is fully working, I believe the locktite might have something to do with it, but i cant do anything about that until i solved number 1 I hate paradoxal problems
