Well, seeing as Desert Storm, Nicarguar, Grenada Etc. are all getting older, any of you folks reenacting these? Who am I kidding, of course some are. With all of these high-tech Airsoft junkies in their $1000 wierdo modern kits.
So, any of you wanna go out in the boonies and recreate the Mother of all Battles?

Well I'd wear more than just a boonie lol. Maybe a pouch or two and a gun, THEN I'd do it.

Well, most of these people who do all of the crazy stuff are in extreme debt or are just extremely lucky with their wealth, like the dudes who have a bunch of tanks and all of the nice stuff. I hate those folks. They win everything and make us look bad. I'm gonna go cry in a corner now.

I always thought anything with muskets would be a hoot! If they ran on soem kind of air supply hidden in the stock, then it should be easy to get em to look right. You could even still put powder in the frizzen pan and get it to spark with flint so you would have the smoke and percusssion! Hmm I wonde if you could put a tiny patch behind the ball to make it shoot better?

Lining up in formation 3 thick and shooting at the other team 50 feet away single shot style sounds like scenario paintball to me. ;D

I have never heard of anyone doing it on a large scale in either paintball or airsoft. A game of a couple hundred people complete with cannon would be great.

Kinda along these same lines has anyone used any of the Cowboy stuff. I know there are several lever action rifles, a lever shotgun, and a bunch of revolvers but I have never met anyone who uses them. I haven't seen many reviews either.

I was talking to a guy on a forum a while ago that got the idea to make a musket, spring powered. One push down to arm the spring (with the loading rod thing) and another push with that to push the bb down an inner barrel and past the hop up. The first push would be outside the inner barrel with something attached to the spring... I donno sounded awesome!

Judging from the amount of time I spend "inside" at work, not to mention my lack of a suntan, I'd say that my "bare @$$" would be the brightest thing out there. Just promise you won't shoot me with a 400fps (ha-ha).

lmao thats awesome I would be interested in doing some mexican revolution stuff, just cuz im a huge Pancho Villa fan, and cuz alot of the weapons were either american issued or imperial german issued(on the side of the constitutionalists (Carrancistas) at least) that brings up an interesting question, i know they were kind of archaic by WWII, but i know that the russians still had some cavalry divisions existant in early WWII. would it be plausible, or possible for an airsofter to ride a horse into combat? (provided the horse had proper safety gear)

I dont think using a horse would be humane, ewen if it had protection. ( A human going into a game knows it can be hosed down with plastic bullets, an animal would be truly shocked by the pain..)

Hey why not anti tank dogs??? I hear dogs are pretty cheap at the pound over here. How bout anti-tank Dakotas! How would you like it if they sent you into battle with a mine strapped to your back to crawl under tanks?
