They look great! One complaint. The fact that the boots are caked with mud but not any other part of your uniform is looks kind of unbalanced. On a slightly lighter note what sort of combat set up are you using? My knowledge of modern German gear is pretty much nonexistent except for the fact that they wear flectarn, lol. Click

He's wearing the '90s Bundeswehr issue modular belt and harness system , the belt has holes in it that lock the pouches in place, the Bundeswehr changed to the Molle system a few years back. Blitzkrieg , now you need a German K-pot, here's mine in my K-pot collection. I'll have to dig up my Fleck set up. img519.imageshack.us/img519/918/1013259us8.jpg

oh and they didnt switch to molle, they are still using the webbing, just a newer version. now i know what your talking about and it actually isnt molle, its IdZ, very similar to molle, but isnt. molle can work on IdZ, but as far as i know they're a little bit different. the IdZ is being tested still to some degree, some branches use webbing and others IdZ, also depends if you're in Afghanistan or Germany heres a pic of an IdZ vest at first it does look like molle then you knotice it still has some of the ideas of the old webbing with the holes and heres just an extra picture i think it is a good idea and a great step forward heres a few pics of it in a training exercise heres a video, its in german but you will understand it by watching youtube.com/watch?v=jYaLZM1ax98

Another question, when did the German army make the change from the G3 to the G36?

The funny thing is that one of the companies working on the IDZ(Infanterist der Zukunft) is also working on Land Warrior for the U.S, and for the UK system , French system and Italian system.

The G36 was officially adopted by the Bundeswehr in 1995.

No that is because they are actually maintaining a large military presence in Iraq and are not as anti America as Germany (Trust me man, I live here) On topic of bad ass looking armies. The Bundeswer looks really cool but this looks so much cooler: Click

Poland is one of our (USA's) Greatest allies, just alot of Americans don't know it. -Gordak Yeah I know.....I am trying to convince my American friends of that. They are like "whatever......" My Polish friends are like "Yeah, if we have such a great ally in the US then why cant we get into the US without a visa?" (This is of course because of the high unemployment rate in Poland and the US doesn't want a bunch of excess workers) I guess you could call me bias but it seems to me that Poland always gets ignored by the western world. Well, I really like your full Bundeswehr kit. I would confuse you for a Bundeswehr Soldat any day. Also, I just wanted to add that I really liked the Polish woodland camo. It looks like a very good design.

Yeah its a good camo and relatively cheap too as far a camo's go. As you may guess the cammo works exceptionally well in the Polish woodland environment.

Poland allways gets a bum rap from everyone else , but don't forget it was the Polish military who broke the German Enigma code , it's just that the British took the credit for that.

You multi-camo/digi-camo/whatever-camo fans will get a kick out of these. Pictures courtesy of a friend currently serving in Afghanastan. At the m203 range training with foreign weapons (i dont think much training is required with an ak47 though) and in the CP at his base in Afghanastan. The peice of metal he's holding with the wrench is a peice of shrapnel. He was reporting the day's events when an ied set off, and the peice of shrapnel went through the top of the CP's door. There were a "handful of guys" in there according to him, but luckily nobody was injured. I have some more Pic's if anyone else is interested. There are some "combat" photo's he's taken after a few incidents, but I'd rather not post them, they may not be appropiate.

That sure is a lot of foliage equipment!
You need as much training with an AK as with an M16 or any other modern assault rifle. If you just want to empty the magazine, then insert mag, cock the weapon and pull the trigger 'till it goes click. If you wanna be a lethal unit with the weapon, you need to shoot it a lot to familiarize yourself with it.

ya looks cool, and thanks for bringing that to my attention man, i have a new respect for Poland Haha, yeah no problem I enjoy teaching others about how cool the Polish military is. Poland allways gets a bum rap from everyone else , but don't forget it was the Polish military who broke the German Enigma code , it's just that the British took the credit for that. Not to mention that the walkie talkie was also developed by a Pole. Also the mine detector that the Allies used were Polish developed. Check this article out: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_contribution_to_World_War_IIYou multi-camo/digi-camo/whatever-camo fans will get a kick out of these. Pictures courtesy of a friend currently serving in Afghanastan. Cool pics man, alot better then the uber elite airsoft m4 toter's. Click
