USCM?

Here ya go. I won my Shoei MP44 at the 2005 ASH Bash with this. WOW! I recognize the guy from the Japanese magazines in one of the photos as well. Ah, the USCM. Clearly, one of the best designed guns ever made for any sci-fi film, the design still gets copied regularly in other film gun designs. I've been told that at least three of the original helmets were really WW2 ones. You can tell Apone's was, from the straps. Then again, remember that it was back when US WW2 stuff just wasn't that collectible. I've seen one of the best replicas of a pulse rifle ever done, all in metal and composites, it does everything but fire! The guy who built it was nice enough to let me hold it once, I have a photo of my drooling over it somewhere: props.steinschneider.com/pulser/custom/derrick_custom_00.htmI know someone in England who's one of the most well-educated people on Earth about the USCM, had a big hand in the writing of the tech manual a few years ago and worked at the "Aliens Experience" in London when it was still there. Through him, I've learned a lot about the subject. The uniforms were hand made, from an original camouflage pattern they made for the film. Most of the uniforms and props made for the movie still exist, as they were sold at an auction a few years after the film. I know that one of the main character's chest armor is in the Sci-Fi museum in Seattle (Adler, you have GOT to go see that if you haven't!) as I recently saw it there. The Queen Alien and Power Loader are both there as well on display.
