What happens and why is it in there? Isn't it just Pacific and why do they keep doing Berlin?

In the original Call of Duty for the PC the last mission was to take the Reichstag in Berlin, so yes there was a Berlin mission

I'm disapointed, to much russian maps and not enoght Marine maps.
aslo the last few russian maps were just remakes of COD 1.
I would much rather have a real epic finnal map as a marine

So what battles do they do? do they do like the assault on okinawa, iwo jima, guadacanal? They have Okinawa and Peleliu and one Makin raid level for the Pacific. For the Eastern front they have Stalingrad, Seelow Heights, and Berlin

It sounds O.K but just wish it was about more for the marines than the russians.

I liked the game but would have prefered to have had it split into two seperate games with more content for each campaign. Playing against all those grenade flinging, banzai charging Japanese was awesome but nothing like fighting off wave after wave of nazi zombies after beating the game and unlocking that sub-game. ;D

I don't think the "zombie" game is on the Wii, I beat the game watched the credits and nothing came up stating an unlock of any kind.
Besides I think zombie games are crap, so they can keep that unlock.

Has anybody else felt bad killing the zombie nazis? cuz historically, the test subjects were prisoners, and in many cases Jews sooo I always feel like killing them were bad.

Well these zombies are all wearing black SS uniforms. And no, I never feel a thing after 'killing' anything in a video game. The zombie level is excellent practice for improving the gunnery skills for the rest of the game.

I personally dont like the Japanese part of the game and let my son play those levels while I play the German levels. I already beat the game myself and we beat it on co-op too. He is only 8 years old and playing it by himself when I'm not playing too.
I really hate the online part of it though. It is the worst online I have played so far.

I modified all the small arms to be deadlier and more consistent - out of the box, rifles do double damage when they're scoped, which is stupid. Likewise, every bullet in an Smg did just as much damage as a BA rifle, and more than the Garand or Carbine - those two did the same amount of damage for some reason, I dunno why. Maybe .30 Carbine and .30 '06 is confusing to game designers? Anyway, the game feels more realistic now.

How do you modify the weapons? I have been playing it online and liking it more and more. The Brothers in Arms online almost went away when this game came out.

Modding is illegal. I hate it when people mod. Especially when they turn semi-auto's into full auto guns pretty much. Getting this game for Christmas, so I'll wait till then.

thats not what he means by modding the guns. In the new call of Duty games as you increase in rank you can add attachments to your guns such as bayonets, scopes, or silencers, and you get perks like deeper bullet penetration or whatnot. I think is Guy on a short bused, but I still find myself playing the multiplayer...

Oh, I know that. I have officially deemed COD 4 unplayable, this past week it's sucked. I didn't go positive once today. Guess that's what's left over from the transition to 5. Can't wait...

I'd really be surprised if modding was illegal, considering that they have made a mod launcher in the game - the COD4 and COD5 modding teams certainly condone third-party modifications, and with good reason - they have been shown to totally renew a game, prolonging the life of the game greatly. The longer a life the game has, the more likely it is to be bought. People cheating and such is one of the reasons I don't play online. Bunny-jumping and other crap like that as well. Have a look at these: forums.filefront.com/cod5-modding-editing/384845-c-o-d-w-w-modding-tutorials.html No, I mean that I tweaked the damage of the single player and Co-Op weapons to be more realistic. For a mod of a multiplayer weapon to work, I'd have to host the server. You can't change weapons client-side and expect it to work on an online server. If it did, people wound just modify the pelletcount of the trenchgun to a million, set the range to that of a sniper rifle, decrease reload time/make it automatic, and increase clip size to about a thousand. Luckily, that can only be done by the server.

You're changing the game and messing with your system. This voids the warranty too. And besides, it's not a fun expierence seeing a guy running around with auto aim spawn killing you now is it. As for modding Campaign, I wouldn't have a problem and I bet that's fun but it's still against the rules.

I play the game on my PC. If you'd read what I wrote, I said that I had modified the single player weapons, hereby implying that I hadn't touched the multiplayer weapons - not that it would matter, since the server dictates the weapons used. I'm not messing with my system, I'm modifying my game the way it was meant to be modified - the developers wouldn't have made it that way if they didn't intend for it to be moddable. Voids the warranty? I can just reinstall the game if I accidentally screw something up.

The M1 carbine and other pistol rounds at a distance of under 250 yds actually transfers their energy to the target causing the target to explode. Trust me i own a 9 mm carbine and a couple of sks's. Also my father and I went to a range and we tested out the sks, 9mm carbine, m1 garand, m1 carbine, 8mm mauser and the 1911. The pistol rounds at a distance of 150 yds (this also includes the m1 carbine as it has a pistol type bullet) exploded the target gel with ease. By explode I mean EXPLODE. The 30-06, 8mm mauser (kar98) and the sks (7.62x39) all went through the gel leaving a gaping hole about the diameter of a soda can. We tested all of these out with FMJ (full metal jacket). I've never played the new cod but as far as I'm concerned the story lines of cod and coduo for pc are unbeatable for historical accuracy.
