Well I finnaly got to see it, had to wait for it to come out on dvd and for my step dad to buy it.
Quite diffrent from what I thought, the production value was sky high, lots and lots of extras, period costumes ect. The movie basicly got what you want in a "war" movie You got the evil yet hansome and sharming Gestapo leader the diffrence is that this guy isn't some invetion of fiction, but he was a real guy and he realy was that hansome and sharming. Not a lot of action but what you have is effective, the movie is realy more a spy movie and a personal film about a man who has to fight to free his country while his friends die one by one.
The movie cut out alot of story, like you get nothing from his almost 9 month journey from norway to Scotland. The only thing that is fiction in the moive is what happend in finland agasint the russians, this is simply because Manus never told anybody what happend there, the rest of the movie is quite close to the real thing, nothing is invended for drama or action.
So if you are intrested in or want to know more about this forgotten theater during WW2, then get a hold of a copy of the movie.
It was also quite cool to see germans and gunfights taking place 3 minutes from were I live, a lot of the scenes in the movie was shoot were I grew up
