Hey, I am in Oregon, and I was wondering, if you are a Russian, do you carry a fighting knife? It seems expensive to make that mistake, also, can you use it to get a surrender? Thanks...

I was thinking the same question about getting a surrender. would be pretty cool. as long as you're careful, lol But I'm not sure if everyone had knives or not, maybe some did, some didn't knowing the rag-tagedness of the Red Army

Most Russian grunts in WWII would be equiped with the following (during warm weather combat): - Tunic
- Trousers
- Pilotka side cap
- Short boots w/ leg wraps
- Leather or canvas belt
- Ammo pouches & canteen
That was pretty much it. They liked to "aquire" things any way they could. You see a lot of Soviets with German gear, & weapons. Don't over do it though with German gear. To answer your question about a knife, if you're carrying a Nagant rifle you'd have a bayonet, otherwise...don't bother with a fighting knife.

Ya, but I like the idea of surrenders. Just come up behind them, put it to their necks and whisper surrender.

Ummm, if anyone even pulls a bayonet or any kind of knife out during an airsoft event you will be TOLD to leave and NEVER come back! If you walk up and put a knife or bayonet to another WW2AA member's throat you will be arrested and prosecuted for assault! PERIOD! Wise up guys.
