I was wondering if anyone was attending the Siegfried line at Tolland the weekend of the Airsoft event, I have never been to Tolland before or participated in this reenactment so I didn't know about it. A few people have mentioned it and I was wondering if anyone thought this may hurt attendance. I sent out an Email to all current registered players and no one mentioned it in their return Emails Other than Tyler and his guys. I spoke to Les the field owner and he thought it may cause some conflicts. Here is the event announcement: www.3pgd.org/events.html If you have any thoughts please post them up here I would really like to hear them! Gerry

Gerry It sounds like the tolland event is only going to be a day and 1/2 long and is restricted to invite only. They also have age restrictions. Our The Rhineland event I believe is going to be a much finer event being a three-day immersion event it's the best way to go. See everyone there soon

Glad to hear it Tom
Thanks guys, it is going to be a fine event I am sure of it. All of the pre registrants hadn't expressed any concern over the Tolland event.... like piper said it is an invite only event. Airsoft events are few and far between but we are hoping to host 2-3 events at Ground zero each year. That with the Capitol district events which should have good times!

I know, it's only a few weeks away, it'll be hard to re-reserve the days.

im hearing some pretty bad news- is the event going to be moved again? From whom? No, it is staying this date. You will all be very happy you attended this event I promise, those of you that miss it will regret it. Everyone needs to get registered, if you do not register and get your name on the list you will not be able to receive many of the Items planned like the rations, V mail, feldpost, Saturday night meal etc Many of these items are tedious and require great detail to prepare and we can not create additional stuff because someone might show up. We can only prepare for the registered players we know will be attending. Gerry

I’m not too worried even if the Germans end up being a bit out numbered. I have the MG-34 working and feeding very well. Agustowitz has his STG-44 as I’m sure a few others here have one as well. What we Germans lack in numbers we will simply make up in firepower.

Don't forget, however, that probably 98% of us have Thompsons (accurate percentage ), and the other 2% are .30 cals and BARs.

Hey everyone, The event is getting closer and closer by the day my son and I are looking forward to it. This is going to be an event to remember. Garry has many surprises lined up for everyone so get your self registered so you can take full advantage of all the surprises in store for you. I thought I'd let you guys have a sneak peek at the POW tags that the losing country will have to wear on Saturday night during the supper time. These are reproduction tags for the U.S. and Germany, who will be the victorious country for Saturday?

Is the German tag supposed to be in German? Yes it is cant you see? It is the same German Tom Cruise used in Valkrie. Being that 99% of us do not speak or use German on a daily basis, I think I like this German. Should we write the German Feldpost in German too?

Yes, since we're trying to get to the real thing as close as possible. Its not really that hard to Google a Translater... Kriegsgefangener- Prisoner of War Datum der Festnahme- Date of Capture Platz der Festnahme-Place of Capture Einheit, die Festnahme Macht-Unit Making Capture Better yet you can make tags that look like real German POW tags like this one.
