First I'd like to start off by saying I had an awesome time! Wasn't too cold, and the light flurries and such really set the mood. I'd like to thank Sean and his family so much for allowing us to use their land, and Burt for running the raffle and everything.
My actual AAR is on the way, and so are Mike's pictures(right bizatch?!).

Well This was an awesome event for so many reasons, We got to play in the snow and mud with overcast bulge like sky, and it wasn’t even very cold! Lots of new faces who I’ve known on the boards for a long time, it was great to finally meet you guys! Tons of combat, the scenario worked really well for maximizing trigger time, the ambitious start time of 7 am, was a good idea, because we used every bit of the 9 hours of sun light. I had trouble all day with my B.A.R. (motor went bad) which sucked but I got to take lots of pictures. The Ersatz Brothers made the trip again! Awesome to see you guys! Their custom spring Kar 98s did REALLY well in the low temperature combat. And despite my bad luck with my B.A.R. I won a ton of stuff in the raffle! Burt, Warlord, Im am so very grateful you guys ran this game it friggin ruled! Here are Tons of pictures! s10.photobucket.com/albums/a102/ww2aa/east%20coast%20winter%2007/-Gordak

Haha, why do I look so S***faced in all of my pictures. It surely was a cold one at times. Great job Burt and Warlord, I can't wait for the next one. I will try to get some pictures up this week, or maybe even tonight. Nice to meet all of you guys.

I had 8 total that I could count. I fired about 40-50 Carbine rounds and around 100 .30 Caliber rounds when I took control over it. I could have had more as I was firing at the tank rolling up at Mclovin's CP and one German (sorry, I didn't catch your name) commented on how well I was on the .30 Cal. I could have had 15 total for all I know. With the M1A1 Carbine I racked up 3 kills, and was pretty impressed on how it handeled in the cold, despite the range. I can't wait to use it in a summer game. I really needed an AEG to keep up with Jack's whoring Hi-cap M1928 rant. Also, I have to bring a mirror to the event, I look like a coke-head in half of my pictures, haha!
Terrible Picture to pick out Tim, but I love you anyway.

Yeah Tim, nice pic. With me and my Flaggrantly Wrong watch(I took it off, I swear) and weird face. However, we ARE the l337 crowd, lol.
I DON'T magwhore, I just shoot a lot of rounds in not a lot of time, you jealous fools!

Damn, that looks like it was an awesome game, wish I could have been there but I had a previous engagement that I had to be at. Looks like you had an even number of Germans and Allies this time, last time we were a bit outnumbered. Who was the person doing 502d? I thought I was the only 502d person in the area.

lol. yep jack was hi-capping the SH!7 at the germans. 5000 rounds and only 18 kills to show for it.....what a noob;). The holdup at general mclovin's cp was great, the footage for that part will be absolutely "nuts". I got to win a glock (which is sweet!) in the raffle, and Sam seemed to win nearly everything else. I regret not mugging him before leaving;). It was great getting to meet people from on the forum for the first real time, and also getting to make a few new "whole buddies". The housing provided by Sean was perfect, and although I didn't have the best night's sleep (being interrupted by talk about sausages) I was definitely warm and comfortable. The scenario and respawn conditions worked beautifully for the event, and there were only a few short times where the plastic wasn't flying. I'm definitely looking forward to the next event, I had a terrific time.

Being my first ww2 airsoft event I have to say that was fun as hell! I really had a great time. Finally got to put the names to the faces
Sean and family, thanks a ton for letting us use the place and organizing the event. It really was great. I hope to see some great footage, get well soon! I cleaned up a bit after you left, I found 3 pairs of those shooting glasses left. Thanks Josh for running the game and for the raffle and everything.

I'm sitting with Otto right now looking over the preliminary after-action remarks and believe me, it was fun and worth the drive. Otto took the pictures and movies and won't post them until he gets home because we lack the transfer cable. Otto will do that but since he moved this week (we still have a drive to get him home) it will have to wait until he gets connected. He has a small group of pictures and a short movie that he'll share as soon as he can.
Thanks Josh and Sean. Great job on this one too. We figured as much and the decision to come wasn't a tough one. The tank even though it wasn't finished still performed the role well enough and really added to the event.
It was great to meet new faces and reconnect with old. Sam is one lucky raffle winner, but we managed to hold our own. Biged was holding court on technical matters and made the allied drives easier due to his skill with indirect fire from his mortar. Smoke and tennis balls rained down and caused not a few Axis casualties and he even scored a direct hit on the tank. I was DOA due to incoming on one bombardment.
The Grief troop is still out there somewhere so you allied troops keep a wary eye out for him.

It was certainly an awesome event with a great turnout. I think we had about 2 dozen people show up, which was great for a WWII winter event. Mike, where is that sweet picture of a "l337" bazooka team, with an especially "l337" bazooka man?
.....Just wait until you see the videos, some of the footage was absolutely crazy (mclovin's CP comes to mind).

I have some footage of Tim and I running back to pick up the Bazooka and then I think you can see us shooting it off. I was the loader, Tim missed by the way. Also, I was the Mclovin's CP Footage. I was holding off all of the German's with the .30 cal by myself until they made me surrender. I had no choice as they had their Kar98's in my face, and the mg34 was five feet infront of me.

I have some footage of Tim and I running back to pick up the Bazooka and then I think you can see us shooting it off. I was the loader, Tim missed by the way. ahem. shot number 1- the nerf rocket didn't even leave the barrel (probably because I had a bad loader ) Shot number 2- the projectile went about 25 feet, the target was about 50 feet away. You do the math. Then with the panzerfaust (thanks very much ersatzjack bro's by the way) it shot about the same distance. The launchers were seriously plauged by the weather, the gas propellants used for them simply weren't powerful enough for the cold.

I wasn't instructed very well. Some guy that was apart of the 26th told me to push it in all of the way. I wonder what was his deal. Of course, I am just kidding Tim. I think we were both kind of jumpy, and thought the round would have went further the 2nd time, and the 1st time, we atleast thought it would have went. The cold really did take its effect on the gas weapons no doubt. That thing is surely sweet, even loading it was awesome.

LOL yeah, when we shot the bazooka indoors the thing hadnt even started to drop at 25 feet, and nailed a wall so hard that everyone jumped, I bet it has 120 to 200 foot range in the summer time. It was just like real war, everyting going to sh!t at the critical moment. -Gordak

All video has been uploaded to my computer (thats right, theres really that much!) And now I will go to work cutting and editing to come up with a first video.
There are several items that people left behind at the game, I'll put a list up later on.
