Thank you Otto. And yes there were a lot of thompsons, and a single m1. Thats something we hope changes in the next game, because the Germans had a much more balanced weapon selection. Oh and Otto, that was a German late war ATV, didn't you know? A few Flaggrantly Wrong items in the event were not able to be moved at the time (except for the ATV but It got left out by accident). Next game will be different, I assure you. But I was a little upset with the fact that a few of the players did not have uniforms. I will make sure that next time that they either have them or do not participate. It takes away the experience and that should not happen.

Crikey not the OMGZ SEW MENY TH0MPZONS rant.... I have a Thompson because it's the only reliable, affordable gun thats not a quasi-custom deal. I'm not a Sgt, I don't claim to be anything other than a private with a Thompson. As soon as a cheap AEG M1 is made I'll nab that shizzle up...until then....1928. /end rant.
That lack of uniforms, or atleast, attempts at uniforms was rather dis-heartening...
AWESOME video though Sean!!11!!!

Another good video, Sean. I think with experience they will get better. You guys had a lot to do this time and you did put together a great event. Camera guys - avoid filming atv's and the like and the films will be better. To those who are worrying about the Thompson's you are seeing only part of the footage. There were other guns there. I remember a carbine (Big Ed) a Browning .30cal (Big Ed) and a BAR (Gordak). There was also a 60mm mortar. If you see all of the videos you may catch glimpses of these too. Like Nimlas says, the variety of U.S. WWII guns favors use of Thompsons. So what?

Hey, i don tcare about the amount of thompsons, i just thought it was a bit comical haha. I wish a game like this was closer. Maybe for the next event i can represent the 2nd armored there and talk my mom into a tripp to upstate NY I really would like to battle with you all one time! -Cary

Another thing about uniforms, there were two guys who didn't have German or U.S. uniforms and they looked GREAT. I'm talking about the French Resistance impressions of course. With a little work a person who is thinking about WW2 airsofting can look good as volksturm, resistance, or partisan without the investment of an actual uniform. Showing up with a high school numbered jersey should be avoided.

The Marquis did look absolutely stunning, too bad they dont make Stens or other weapons that they could have used. -Cary

Very cool video and great impressions! Sure there were a few things wrong, but when does everything go right?
My only problem was the shoulder firing of the German MGs, maybe in DoD, but not in real life.
You guys put on a great event. Good Job!

I have prepared yet another video thats a bit shorter, and the camera action is not as good, but it will give you an idea of what happened. Also you'll notice that I had to skip scenario 2 and go right to 3. Why you ask? Because I have barely a minute of footage from the 2nd Scenario and it is not of action. Here it is!! youtube.com/watch?v=jsL8Cl3RlEo

Another great video. The artillery duel was interesting for sure. I finally got into some of the footage . You can see that biged was firing tennis balls at us and unless you were hit on the head it was purely an honor system for deciding if you were hit. I purposedly tried not to look up as I didn't think we should be running from the barrage (the balls can be tracked) and decided that if it dropped where I could hear it or see it I'd call myself out. In short order. one did land close behind me and one of the Germans walking off the field said that it looked like it could have taken me out which is why you don't see me in the last shot of the position. I was a mortar casualty. The burst of compressed air from both arty pieces is priceless. The cannon shot water balloons and if you got wet you were dead. I wonder if the mortar could pull off a water balloon shot. Seems like that would eliminate wondering if you were hit or not. Biged has hinted at more support weaponry for the next one... Yikes!

I so want to go to the next event, but I need my kit! I ordered it 3 weeks ago and decided I needed to contact them and see what was wrong, turns out the order didn't pass. Video looks great, and hopefully I will have my kit for the next event.

Good third video warlord516. I am hoping you still have video of the final skirmishes against the Americans in the trenches. Those really were the best assaults. Can we expect more? Do we dare hope?

Yes you can dare to hope, and even go as far as expecting an awesome finale!! Even without Sam and Adreon's film......this may be the most epic, and best video of the entire event.
The German charge...is indescribable. Please be patient, this one is gonna be worth it.

Sorry guys, this is not a new video, nor have I released the footage from the famed "assault on the trenches" of the August game, merely, I'm posting here because I've decided to upload my videos to a new location. No longer will I be suppressed by low resolution limits set by Youtube. Now I'm uploading my footage to stage6, where I can get my higher res video on there without having to convert it to something small and low quality. Heres a video from the LAST GAME that I uploaded. This is nothing compared to what we have for the "Bulge"...but it will give you a taste of better video quality. Teaser www.stage6.com/user/Warlord516/video/1944300/World-War-II-Airsoft-Game-TeaserCombat www.stage6.com/user/Warlord516/video/1944204/ P.S. Some of you may have to download the DivX codec to play this video. Its free, and you should download it anyway since I'm moving all my "Bulge" footage to Stage 6

Hmm...did you go to this site: www.divx.com/ and click "FREE DOWLOAD" 16.9 MB? I believe thats the one. If you install that and it still doesn't work, send me a PM.
