Wow! This was an awesome event! A huge thanks to Gerry who put a ton of work into this to make it happen.
I'll post up a AAR later. I also took around twenty minutes of footage and that will also be posted within the next several weeks.

Honestly I didn't have time to pay attention to what type of weapon was shooting at us, but there was a ton of fire flying in both directions. The fire fights were a real rush. I ditched that m1a1 carbine pretty quick for soemthing that could actually kill. -Gordak

I got a German with your Carbine Gordak, during your little flanking maneauver. It shot pretty high FPS wise. And if you don't want it, you could give it to be, that'd be fine.

Hello everyone,
I had a blast at this event. It being my first ever WWII airsoft event was a risk that I was glad to have made. Being out there in the fields I noticed that everyone was strictly out to have a good time. The points, even though they determined the winner, seemed to fall second to making the event realistic and fun for all. I have been to many over night airsoft events, not WWII, and I have to say that I am now hooked on WWII.
The medic rule was amazing. I never got to act out any dramatic wounds because I drew 5 KIA's and one unconscious cards. BORING. Midway through Saturday I cut my hand straight to the bone with my knife and had to use my fake bandage as a real bandage. I ran around with a real left hand wound and real blood gushing all over myself and weapon.
I just want to say thank you guys for all the effort put into this event. By far the best event I have ever been to, and it will not be the last. The German grenades and me disarming several of the allies' booby traps really gave me the taste for WWII airsoft. I would love to join one of your WWII groups, but I live so far away from everyone. So I will just see you at future events.
Oaty

ha yea i lost the east german canteen- im also missing a whermach bread bag- its light grey/blue and has light yellowish stains along the bottom, so if anyone has that...
the event was awesome, being at the front of every battle with those awesome mp44s, wrought uncountable kills against the allies. hoping to see another ww2 battle in the new england area soon. im from waterford as well, looking to link up with a division.
thanks to gerry and eveyone else for setting up such a great event!

Until he can afford to buy a reproduction east german will do him unless you would like him to carry his water around the field in the cup of his hands...although that will make trigger pulling more amusing and sporting.
