Germans captured and used many weapons , the Garand was not used as much as other weapons , but some soldiers , specially FJs where trained on how to use the M1 Garand FJs during a weapons familiarization class According to a few Vets i talked to , there where 3 times when ammo was in large enough supply to allow FJs to use captured American weapons: D-Day and a few days after Market-Garden Battle of the Bulge

That must be why the Germans never used captured American weapons, like they did Soviet. They captured millions of rounds of Soviet ammo early in Barbarossa, and therefter,so Commie ammo was never an issue, ever. Given that the Germans fought the US for barely 2 years, and rarely defeated them on a major scale, I can see why American weapons, superior as they were, were never used.

Too bad that that wasnt a mass produced AEG M1 Garand... hopefuly one day AGM or some other airsoft manufacturer will finally realize that if they made a semi cheap AEG garand they would become richer than their wildest dreams...

Hey I am hoping AGM will start doing WWII Rifles since they have covered a lot of the main WWII Airsoft Machine guns. Hopefully we'll see a Kar98 and Garand soon. (MP40, Stg44, Sten)
