As for the Avatar get a link to a photo from photobucket or something and put it in the Avatar slot when you go into your account settings.

The way I found my impression was at the military surplus store the green uniformss are cheaper and I wear black leather lace up boots gear and a steel helmet with liner all for under $70

The way I found my impression was at the military surplus store the green uniformss are cheaper and I wear black leather lace up boots gear and a steel helmet with liner all for under $70 The proper boots for Airborne would be brown like these. You can get them used for around $50-$80. You should have an M42 Jump Suit also. I see them used for around $100 for the jacket and trousers. Yes, but you won't be able to see it. Save up and get real jump boots. WHen they are real, you will like them a lot more and they will look a lot sharper.

No. Never. Some may look black but there were no black jump boots in WWII. FJ did but not US. They didn't come out with black ones until the late fifties/sixties
