The Nazi scientists and engineers along with their secret weapons like the ME 262, V-2, Horton 2-29, pioneering assault rifles have invented in the spring of '45 a time machine!
The Madman Hitler has staged a daring raid into the future to kidnap family members of General Eisenhower as well as other top ranking members of the US Army and government, the remaining Wehrmacht Generals, backing this insane idea see this as an opportunity to sue for peace, keep some of their conquered lands and avoid the total destruction of Germany!
The Wehrmacht has sent their finest men...SS, Heer and Fallschirmjager veterans of all fronts who will be met by a coalition of NATO Special forces......
Who will be the victor?Event costUnless we get a group discount. It will cost each person $20.00 to play on the field. Where:Ground zero Airsoft- Field/store Location: 1254 Wolcott road, Wolcott, CT 06716 When:On Sunday August 23rd elements of the 1st fallschirmjager division, 3rd regiment supported by Sam and friends dressed in German uniforms, will head up to the Wolcott field to do battle against any and all modern dressed Airsoft challengers. I know this is not our typical WW2 reenactment or even a typical WW2 Airsoft reenactment/scrimmage. However, the idea here is to meet up and have fun! Sam and I planned this event wherefore it would also serve as a great promo for WW2 Airsoft in general. Let's go and shoot the heck out of the modern dressed Airsofter’s! Who:To be added to the roster below please post or PM me. Give your rank, name and/or reenactor name, unit name please. Roster: Note, we ask that everyone attending as elements of the Wehrmacht come with good impressions of the 1942-1945 era. Please also attend using WW2 weapons only! Do not come as a Luftwaffe, Heer or SS soldier with an M16 or Ak47. Thank you in advance! 1st fallschirmjager division, 3rd regiment

I'm psyched! This is my first foray into WW2 AS. After 20 years of blank fire. Should be a blast! I look forward to finally putting some faces to the names on here.

Good idea. If you guys really want to have fun, I'd work out your structure ahead of time via PM and arrive ready to wow the assembled masses with a highly coordinated unit. (Or as coordinated as you can get in a month of PMs) If you want to draw members into WWII airsoft, it helps to give them a good reason. If you guys are acting in concert and know what you're doing then the others will recognize it and if nothing else appreciate that you were there. Hopefully you'll infect them. Good luck.

And you are more than welcome to attend!!! ;D Bring the armor and the Pak40 for good measure! LOL! On a serious note, I will certainly take what you said into consideration. I think we all who are going should.

Looking sharp and ready to go will leave a lasting impression. Those of us who have been doing WW2 reenacting for awhile should be on point for this. Lead by example.

Will there be any actual WWII events? And my "no" was meant like a "shut up".

Will there be any actual WWII events? And my "no" was meant like a "shut up". I think yes. One in the fall and possibly one in the winter. You are more than welcome to host one if you can. I'll go if you do. It isn't easy to host a game. Ask anyone that has ever hosted a game. This is, as Bob said, just a fun game that my unit and other German units are trying to go too.

Sounds great. Maybe I can finally use my M16A4. Will there be a spot for US troops, or is it strictly Modern and German?

do we need time accurate weapons? Well,if you wanna do WW2 German, thats the idea. It would look pretty silly to have a guy in a German uniform with an M4 or AK!

Read the first post. If you are going as a WW2 soldier you must be in period correct clothing and you must have a period correct weapon.
We don't want to look half-ass in front of the Modern Airsofters. We will represent WW2 Airsoft in the best manner that we can. That means period dress. Period weaponry. A command Structure, formations etc. I am treating this as if it were a ww2 Airsoft operation.
We expect a measure of professionalism.

We expect a measure of professionalism. i realize and expected this. we solved this problem earlier and someone brought it up again, so i joked around. what i wanted to know was if i could rent a weapon. i really dont have a 100+ dollars to drop on a new ww2 gun. i have a full uniform, and would play professionaly like usual. during the Rhineland event, i rented an mp44. i wanted to do it again.

I'll be there along with Sam- sign me up. Don't think I'll be wearing wool in August, so I'm going as Spetsznas.

The ok, Fusilier, ya smartass I'm going as GROM (Polish Special Forces). Now that would be cool! I collect Polish and Warsaw Pact uniforms and gear. I have a complete Polish camo uniform, kevlar and assault vest. A little too hot to wear in August though! I also have old splinter pattern, worm pattern, and the rare Leopard pattern uniforms. And the correct headgear to go with them! Oh,and I do Polish 1939 as well! ;D
