Tovarish Tango!
You bring disgrace to great Motherland Northern Fleet! Where is your telnyashka??
(very important, no Navy man would be without his blue-and-white striped shirt. Even Vasili Zaitsev insisted that he be allowed to wear his, when he volunteered for infantry, and being sent to Stalingrad, he still wore it every day. The blue and white stripes signify the sea and the waves, and in his words, "Makes a man feel a little taller, a little more like a man, just by putting it on.")
Other than this, I find your impression, and that of your Comissar, MOST equal! Well done, Tovarish!

Thanks for the comments! That's the blank fire group I'm in, so all the guns are real or BFONGs. For airsoft I use my Hexagon PPSh-41. I couldn't resist posting these pictures, even if they aren't airsoft! I'll take one with my PPSh-41 another time.

Alright, here is my M1903A4 loadout! All ready for OP Overlord: Behind the Beach Head this weekend! I know somethings aren't perfect, but I'm really glad how this turned out. I think I will only get more stuff when stuff breaks beyond repair. Tomorrow, I'll gear up my wife in her Corpsman impression.

Impression looks great! Your m1903, although it may look a bit off, from 10ft away, I doubt anyone will complain. Most because you'll be shooting at them! Lol I must be honest, it does make me chuckle, but I applaud you at the same time! For your first few builds, even on a budget, you really did a heck of a job getting the lines nice all while keeping it functional! Reminds me of my first build with my BAR!

Looks nice! I'd suggest ditching the gaiters, as no paratrooper would have those. Even if you wear low boots and don't blouse your pants, it will look better IMO than gaiters.

He can use gaiters if he is portraying glider infantry. Most glider infantry were issued the same exact gear and uniforms as the airborne, most were 101st, In the summer they would have m42's and spring, fall and winter most of them would have m1943's and jump boots, double buckles

Looking at more pictures some did have the same exact gear as US infantry, I never knew that

Eh, I like the feel of the gaiters over the jump boots. So, I guess I'm portraying Glider Infantry, now, haha.

Not all troops (in fact few) had brass knuckles so while certainly a nice touch they're absolutely not essential.

I know you probably know this but the M 1A1 thompson was unable to use the drum magazine. (the M1928 of course could ). The company FIELDWORKS, makes an excellent rubber brass knuckle knife that was popular at the time. (very nasty looking device)

yeah i did know about that. 2nd Bat. i was playing a game at an airsoft park where it was semi only except for a designated squad gunner per team, and i was one. the picture took place right after that game. I also only use the drum mag and other farb-y stuff when i am the only ww2 person present which is 95% of the time 2nd Bat, thanks so much for that link!!! i have been looking for a rubber knife of any kind that would fit in my M3 sheath ever since i got it and that is more than i could have hoped for I just ordered one!! ill paint it with brass colored spray paint when i get it. they have alot of other cool stuff too If anyone wants to check them out its here: thefieldwerks.com/rubber_1918_trench_knife.html

Great impressions! This is what WWII airsoft should look like. I am not as well versed as I would like to be in the details of airborne and marine impressions, but they look very well done to my knowledge. By the way, is that OD green streak on the helmet of the man in the middle of the three paratroopers paint?

Many of The 82 airborne sported camo painted helmets so that detail is quite accurate. You guys look great.

Hello all, been absent for a little while but I went and bought a few load outs while I was away... Looking for pointers to finish everything up to "stitch nazi" standards. I need to work on the footwear for sure, but I'm mainly looking for constructive criticism on gear and uniform. Don't worry, I'll get everything dirty. But for now tell me what looks right, what looks out of place, and any add on details that would finish everything out PIC HEAVY btw. Pacific Marine Rangers Garand Rangers BAR gunner (I'm using alot of WWI gear on this one, that's why it looks odd. I usually re use all of the gear attached to the Garand set up.) 101st Paratrooper Wools And don't judge me too harshly on the 2nd armored, a friend of mine has a BRDM that we are going to use for air soft so I went with a half ass tanker load out after Fury came out. Just thought I'd share for fun. Just need to get the tanker helmet... Thanks ahead for the input!

Jared all your impressions are awesome! There's almost nothing you need to improve on. For your marine kit if you add the 41 suspenders, poncho, and tent half I'd say it would be 100%! If you are at all confused about how the suspenders work with the pack I found this great guide. m1pencil.wordpress.com/2010/06/30/usmc-m1941-pack-configuration-guide/

Thanks guys! Now that I have all of these I just need to get out and get them dirty! I've been going German lately...
Good info on the Marine kit! I have the suspenders but wasn't really sure how to put everything together until that link, thanks Sgt. Squid.
