Hey guys, I'm a student at a performing arts academy and need a play for a directing project I have to do. So, does anybody know any good plays about WW1 or WW2, preferably about combat/soldiers and must be by an american playwright. Thanks guys.

Diary of Anne Frank
The author of the book the Clay Pigeons of St Lo was an infantry Battalion Coomander and said in his book that he wanted to do a play on the units adventures through Normandy but I just can't imagine how that could be done on stage.

"Stalag 17" was a Broadway production before it was a movie. The authors of the play were both in the real Stalag 17B, in Austria, during the war.
