why not use 40mm airsoft grenades and nerf rockets. then find a trigger mechanism of some-sort.

One of the guys in camp had a mortar like launcher and asked me if he should take a shot. (About 13o yards away) I said go ahead. He had two rounds enroute before the first one hit. They both were spot on and essentially obliterated the squad. A couple absolutely amazing shots. The survivors ran into the forested trail right into an ambush Mac and his patrol had set up. That was me, and actually it was an Echo1 M79, using the rounds that came with it to fire a Nerf mini-vortex. I tape the footballs in a manner that makes them skinnier in the middle to, with the fatter ends providing a double air seal going down the barrel. I use electrical tape to do this typically, but you can use duct tape, it just lasts longer with the electrical tape. I am using the same principles to make an RPG2 and was thinking about making a bazooka as well, but think I may go for something like a recoilless instead, since we are trying to experiment with a vehicle that has a weapon on it now.

You guys really need to rethink this!!! I'm telling you from first hand experience that making one of the M1A1 Bazooka's is NOT a good idea. They tried to charge me with being a TERRIORIST for making one. Yeah sure I got away with it for years, but they took it away from me and all the equipment and blank ammo. They tried to say I was not a class 2 manufacturer and was breaking the law. They don't see history, reenacting or airsoft as a hobby, they see us as trying to take over, like terriorists! Silly? YES. All it takes is one liberal or antigunner and your name is on a wanted poster!!! Sorry to be a wet blanket, but it's true! Now I don't tell anyone what I'm doing or take any chances. We can't fight the system, so don't give them an accuse. Stick to what we can buy.

That is the reason that I consult the BATFE before making something, and yes, they have put the kaibosh on a few different projects, but the ones they have oked have been set up to be of no issue to them/FedGov. Yeah, you end up making things that aren't true replicas, but a small price to be paid for the right to legally build.

well as i talked about in the pm i sent you....anything that launches a rocket of some kind on a level plane and/or uses an electrical firing system is classifiable as a "destructive device". i only didn't get charged for selling them because i was using thin walled PVC for my bazookas, not metal..low melt temp and wrong diameter for a real steel round and all...... all the stuff i'm building now is based around the 40mm rounds and the taped nerf vortexes because they are legal at all fields and are a know quantity to most airsoft organizers who usually don't want to allow the air-cannon type weapons because of liability issues......also the inner barrel that is a requirment for the 40mm rounds precludes you using a real steel rocket rocket and may be a qualifying barrel block,if it's permanent...though you might want to check with ATF on that.if it is ,they might let you use metal...

hey deacon.......wow that video reminds me of the M9 i built back in 2002...exactly....right down to the alligator clips..LOL... www.floridaairsoft.com/reviews/bazooka/www.geocities.com/madmatq/MVC-005W.mpegi found that the blast attenuator at the muzzle of the M9 removes nearly all of the back blast issue.....that was why the made the second model of the M1 with that stupid screen on the muzzle...

ummmm hmmm, I dont have a problem with the rockets but unless he wants to use that thing as an ani aircraft gun there needs to be a change made to the projectile lol. Still really neat though!.

I really don't think a Panzerschrek would really sell, I mean panzerfausts are much smaller and more mobile to carry around than Panzerschreks. A panzerfaust does the same thing to a armored vehicle as the Panzershcrek does.
