I'd love to delete this thread but I'm sure there would be consequences to that. As for the Tactiapplesauce Thompson. It is horrid and I wish bad things would happen to you for creating that....lol

I don't see why its that bad. I would have done it a bit differently then detasman but I like pretty much any kind of custom WWII thing.

Adler- what is differant about an mp40K vs a normal mp40? Last time you said something about that I looked it up and couldn't find anything about it. The MP40k has a shortened barrel , i used it for CQB until i was told to stop using it , the LT. didn't like seeing it next to MP5s It looks like this

i think it looks nasty! END OF THREAD! The BM59's mag was a close copy of the magazine designed by John C. Garand , to be used on his M1 Garand rifle. The '59 i posted the pics of is the Para version of it. This was the regular infantry '59 As you can see , not all that different from the M1.

Its just an airsoft gun. Its not like he's destroying an original artifact. I like to see this beter then stock CYMA thompsons, they get old fast. You guys need to get more creative ;D

don't really see what all is wrong with the original poster's gun. several guys in MACV SOG as well as original nam advisors ran with thompsons with the stock removed and the barrel shortened. of course that was in vietnam... i would think that it mighta happened in ww2 at some point.

I disagree. Maybe in the PTO, where vegetation alone dictates the smallest weapon possible. But the Tommy was not that old of a gun at that point, and the war was for the most part pretty conventional force v force. Gerry and the Japs were not NEARLY as difficult to find as Charlie was. In the wide open spaces of Europe, a super small gun was not necessary. Comparatively, the Thompson already was a small gun. Besides, I don't think the military of that era was as keen on the idea of soldiers "improving" government property. EDIT: Disclaimer; Purely speculative. I could at any time be wrong.

Filipino Guerilla Scout in WW2 with what look like a "Thompson Mini Tac" ( as referred to )

There is a HUGE difference between the scout Thompson you post which from what I see looks like a full size Thompson that is simply missing the stock and this. This has no place really on this forum in the WW2 section.

and yes there is a HUGE diffrence between an POT scout style thompson with a shorter barrel and stock than a freakin ghetto overhaul...STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL

Before you repost a poll ask yourself, "Where the hell did my first one go and why?"

I can care less what you do to your airsoft gun! He isn't claiming its from WWII and he doesn't say he's taking it to a WWII event. I really don't get why you are so mad, and what does the poll have to do with his gun?
