The USMC didn't design the Reising , the Reising was designed by Eugene Reising in 1940. It wasn't a Submachine gun like most people think , but a selective fire carbine , it could fire in Semi automatic or Fully automatic. There where 2 models , the M50 which was a full stock weapon and the M55 which was a folding stock model. The weapon was issued to the US NAVY , USMC and the US Coast Guard. The USMC issued it to Para-Marines , Raiders and Code Talkers, some Mud Marines got them but not as much as the other groups did.

Once again - *logistics* make it utterly useless as a weapon. Great armour, check... mahoosive cannons... check... able to actually cross a European or Russian bridge,... er well no.... erm able to be moved by current fleet of recovery vehicles erm.. no So that will be sitting around outside the factory for the war then wont it ?

The Sd. Kfz. 184 Panzerjäger Tiger(P) was the one named Elephant ( it is also known as the Ferdinand )

Autoblinda Vespa Caproni ,one of the weirdest WWII armored cars ever conceived , good thing this vehicle never made it pass the test model.

According to this site: claus.espeholt.dk/mp44.htm...This is an MP45, obviously can't see the entire gun, but from this much certainly looks like a MP44 to me? There is also a pic of the MP45 stamped mag

That is the Vespa 150 TAP , it's from the 1950's , not WWII , and it was used by the French Airborne Forces (that's where the TAP in the name comes from ,Troupes Aeroportees) . It used an M20 75 mm recoilless rifle that was able to penetrate 100 mm of armor with HEAT rounds. The scooters would be dropped in pairs , one with the M20 and the other with the ammo , a pair of troopers would drive the scooters , engage the enemy armor , fire and quickly get the hell out of there.
Had to modify the post since i made so many spelling mistakes .

I give you the M1 Garand/Johnson hybrid. It was an experimental rifle made by the Springfield Armory to give the Garand more ammo capacity and the ability to add rounds whitout having to eject the En-Block.

Yes , they are from the Springfield Armory , their collection of weapons is huge and they have so many rare weapons in there , to bad they don't let you touch them.

Wow! I'd love to have that Garand in my collection! I have a friend who had a minty Johnsone some years ago that he barely paid $700 for at an auction. He had to sell it when he got divorced!!

This is one of the reasons I'd like a more lenient gun legislation on collecting firearms in Denmark - I'd love to own so many firearms, but can't.
