I'm gonna just take a shot in the dark here...
Is there anyone else on the forum who lives in Texas? (or do you know any WWII airsofters that do?)

I'm a WW II airsofter in West Texas. It's not a very big hobby here, I think I'm the only WW II guy on this side of the state.

Ok, thanks guitarmaster, TW and I have found a few in the area but it seems only modern and Vietnam airsoft is the norm here. Hopefully we'll gain support and participants.

Welcome to come see me in Athens GA. It's a haul but the people that have made the drive from VA, and MD seemed pretty pleased and a fellow from CO seemed pretty excited as well.

CharlieNovember- I've seen lots of reviews from your events, and my first WW II event will definitly be one of yours. If you'd keep tw4449 and I on a list to send out a month or 2 before events of yours so we can prepare for the long haul, we'll definitly be there!

For some reason WWII airsoft in Texas is not as popular as blank. I'm actually trying to join blank firing because WWII airsofter is so rare. There's like four people in Houston that I know that is intersted in WWII airsoft.

Yeah, I understand the feeling... I'd do blankfire, but I've heard too many horror stories of the internal politics of it screwing things up. Ah well.

Northwest Houston area.
Mostly in Oklahoma, though. There is a big WWII event being planned by the people who did Oklahoma Invasion that will take place November 2010 in Wyandotte, OK at D-Day Adventure Park.

Just so everyone knows, I'm attempting to organize a German unit in the DFW area. However, anyone who'd be willing and/or able to travel to events would be welcome to join. Current plans are to attempt make it to Athens, GA, or anything in OK, as a first event.
Anyone who's interested, please PM me for details.

im in fort worth, texas! however i might be under age for any airsoft units (13), but i wouldnt consider myself immature or anything. and, i have yet to put a complete impression together because i havnt found any allied units in texas that would accept someone my age (sigh), and because i spend all my hard earned cash on expensive weapons and converions

Hey man I'm in Austin and am interested. I already do "blankfire" reenacting and thats a blast but would love to get into this as well as I already have the gear. Did you get any guys together yet ? If not, lets do this. I got a friend in my unit that sounded interested as well. Let me know

In Baton Rouge. Guitarmaster contacted me a while back, hiya GM! I had to break the sad news to him that we don't only do WWII...but we're always looking for a game within driving range as Charley will attest to. I've just started looking back into WWII airsoft, it seems that interest in the deep south is still pretty limited...must be the wool uniforms.
