Do yourself a favor. Do you have a Volts-Ohms-Milliamps (VOM) meter? If not borrow one from someone who does. Set the VOM on Ohms make sure that when the test leads touch each other the meter reads 0 (zero or very close to it) ohms and when the leads are apart, the meter reads infinite ohms. With the charger unplugged from AC, put one test lead on one blade of the AC input and the other test lead on the other blade of the AC input. If the meter reads infinite ohms, then the primary circuit of the charger is open and it is bad. If the meter reads a measureable amount, the primary may be good. Now plug in the charger to AC and set the VOM to DC volts. Connect the test leads to the two pins in the connector (output of charger). BE CAREFUL!!!Do not allow the two test leads to create a short across the two pins. If the charger is good, you should read a DC voltage that is probably 20% higher than its rated output (i.e. a 9vdc charger might put out 10-12vdc). If you get positive resulls then chances are the charger is good. The fact that the charger does not get warm, indicates that most likely is has passed to the happy hunting grounds. I recently bought a $39.00 BOL charger that can accomodate 8.4v-9.6v NiCad and Nimh batteries with no problems. You can always use another battery. You could check the battery by using the VOM set to Volts DC and connect across the two pins of its connector with the test leads and see what it reads.

Hi! I'm also in process of buying an AGM mp40. I'm worried about the size of a mag. Do you guys know where can I buy a pouch and I would be glad if someone tells me how long its, the mag. If I wont find any pouches, I will carry the mags in my pockets on trousers, and I would like to know if I could put the mags in a pocket. It would be better if shop where can I buy pouch in Europe.
Tnx for answers M-J
ps: I'm sorry because of my bad english:D

I am not sure on the quality of this pouch but I've heard good things about some Chinese vendors, Like Hong Kong Kieth, and ANT-Z Military.

Both of my china repro mag pouches MP40 and Stg44 were very well made. Were they the best? I dunno but they were not junk.

I am not sure on the quality of this pouch but I've heard good things about some Chinese vendors, Like Hong Kong Kieth, and ANT-Z Military. Dont buy HK Keiths mag pouches, they're crap the leather is so thin like a plastic bag, don't make the mistake I did and buy them twice. I bought these: www.ima-usa.com/product_info.php/cPath/14_212_74/products_id/325heavier canvas and a thicker leather (you can tell just by the picture!), just be sure to unscrew the metal tab pegs and put a little locktight on the threads as they like to come loose. I cut a few pieces of wood about the size of the real mags to kinda fill in the pouches, took a little sandpaper to them and washed/dryed them with the wood still in. This gave them a good worn field look. They also have these in tan as well as Olive and the shipping is lightning fast under $40. His EM leather belts are super thick and heavyweight but aren't rough side out.

Does anyone happen to have a scan of the AGM MP40 instruction manual, or know where to find one online? The MP40 I recently picked up never came with one.
