Has AGM released any mid or low cap magazines for the Stg-44 yet?

How many rounds are you guys getting when you wind up your MP44 hi-caps, before you have to wind again? Don't guess! Wind them and count them! The three I have give me 20-30 shots, which seams kind of low to me

Same between 20 and 30 rounds. You guys need to remember that the real MP40 and STG4 mags didn't hold 100 to 400 rounds.

Granted, but in real life rounds aren't stopped by blades of grass. I just want one that holds 50 rounds or so ;D We all know that airsoft guns have higher mag capacities than their real life counterparts. I don't want to be the only guy out there with a gun that shoots less than what the real one could shoot, before I have to change a mag or.....wind that is It is very easy to take the insides out of the AGM MP44 hi-cap. now just to find a lo or mid-cap internal to replace it with

The extra rounds make up for the lack of range and penetration.

For sir vielance's suggestion on swapping the hi-cap internals out for something with lower capacity, I've found a website selling the mags for $8.99 each: www.khmountain.com/airsoft/product_info.php?cPath=37_27&products_id=1008Should make modifying a bunch of them more cost effective. However, does anyone know anything about this company? The price seems a little too good to be true, and I'm always wary of finding another WWIIguns.com.

For $9.00 each it's not a big worry it being a WW2guns. Regardless KHMountain appears to be a Hong Kong based company. I live in HK and I've never heard of them. However, airsoft shops come and go all the time here. They use paypal so I would assume it is safe. Their shipping appears to be through HK Speedpost or EMS which is basically airmail and safe and can be tracked on line. They didn't post an address for me to visit so I assume it is strickly a web-retailer

A fellow on the Midwest Ostfront message boards, "Ulrich Von Offenberg", has converted several AGM MP44 mags to 100 round midcaps, by removing the AGM internals and stuffing a modified MAG brand MP7 midcap into the AGM case. The conversion looks pretty straight forward and should be fairly inexpensive. Maybe we can get him to post his photos and results on this board. I am going to order a six pack of the MP7 mags and try it myself

In before that, has anyone tried to fill the Mp44 hicap mag with BBs, wind the mag, pour out the BBs and use it as a lowcap?
Since I don't have an Mp44 yet (but plan on getting one), I haven't been able to test it with such a mag, but I tried it on a M4 hicap and it worked great; I found that 34 BBs were loaded each time I wound the mag up, which is enough even for skirmishing (just be sure to have many mags).
Ok, so reloading is gonna be a real pain in the ass but it's a cheap and easy way to avoid the rattle and unrealism of using hicaps.

Ok since no-one replied I just ordered an Mp44 myself and tried my thesis (I would have bought it anyway), and I'm happy to announce that the hicaps can easily be modded to become lowcaps. You simply fill the magazine with BB's, wind it (ALOT I learned), then pour out the BB's that are not loaded, and vóila! You have a lowcap magazine.
