What Country do you Reenact in your AirsoftPlaying, the reason i included commonwealth is just due to the fact that i would not have space for all of those country's and i bet some of you depict some of them... i have allowed you to vote for two countrys, but you shouldntdo it if you only depict on, only people who does two countrys should do it....

I checked commonwealth because the Philippine Scouts were in action in what was then part of the commonwealth of the U.S. not the general UK meaning of the term...but technically it was a US Army unit. I also do German.

There was another similar thread to this a long time ago. I think I made a big deal out of it at that time for leaving China out lol.
I can understand the first five groups, but the last three? I don't see to many French, Italian, or Commonwealth... but, then again not to many Chinese either.
The Chinese kit is simple to start on since it is widely available, well it comes from China (what isn't made in China these days lol) and a lot of Chinese people over there reenact the War Against Japanese Aggression.

I also do German. most Phillipines were involved with lost US soldiers in Guerilla warfare against Imperial Japan.

A filipino guerilla impression is really easy. Period shorts, a tattered civilian shirt a couple of ammo pouches and a garand

US and Germany. I do 3rd ID 7th Regiment for US and generic Heer 1944 for Germany. My German impression has priority over my US one right now though. For German I have a BAR-10(In the process of being a Kar98) and for 3rd ID I have an M1 Garand(in the process of being sold )

although it is kinda wreck that China fails to get mentioned here. haha Granted that he can't mention all belligerents, but China is pretty damn big. Even if Chiang gets treated like a clown by the big three, but the man flew to Cairo for a conference, he should have some recognition. lol
Also post war China was on the UN security council, how is it not mentioned? I don't get it haha. Stop belittling Chinese people, they are giving us cheap ass airsoft guns xD

Stop belittling Chinese people, they are giving us cheap ass airsoft guns xD lol, I agree. There are people still using old and unreliable sources in the 1930s and beyond that many favored the Communists (which they manupulated the US any how to make them believe that they were the good guys) and of course good ol' Gen. Stilwell. Heck, Stilwell had thoughts to assassinate Chiang, but never planned it. I read some of the current school's text book and how they gave the postives of what Mao did and all negatives to Chiang. So far, I have only found one source published before 2000 that is neutral and non biased. But, at least they copy (counterfeit) the airsoft guns and sell it to us for cheap. China suffered heavily from the Japanese actions during the war. The Doolittle Raid did not help either. It helped boost American morale at that time, but it cause anger with the Japanese and they had to take that anger out on somebody. In this case the Chinese civilians who were helping the American pilots/crew to safety. Just to much of old thinking. I can go on and on with my rant I will stop

We paid the Japs back for Pearl Harbor and other atrocities by dropping the first 2 atomic bombs. I'm thinking China kinda owes them for Nanking and other things...

I am not hating the Japanese, as the past is the past, I think they suffered enough with the two atomic bombs...
But, there are still people in Korea, China, etc. that are anti-Japanese and are still angry and won't forget what they did. Many of them are youths that have been taught to hate them. I know one reenactor who told me that there are a few Americans still angry at the Japanese for what they did.

When we started in 2007, we checked with the Illinois group and it seemed there were a lot of Americans and not too many German so being as how we were older and understood the German side cost a little more we (Franz and I) went German. Plus they have cool stuff. But I'm a closet Sgt Saunders (Combat) wannabe at heart and wanted to do American. But nowadays the Germans are the most numerous it seems. Maybe Russia will grow now too.
