As many guns have not been created in the masses I would like to see ya'lls opinion on let's say using a m14 for a g-43, etc. Any opinions? Acceptance, or would it be a modern weapon and need burlap? Like people using a ak for a StG, etc.

We're still at a point where most events will allow stand in weapons and an M14 is far better than most for a G43, Garand, BAR etc. These days hopefully will be gone soon and events will be able to mandate period correct weapons. Increasingly we're seeing more and more period correct weapons but sadly we still aren't there yet.
The event would be well served in my opinion to limit your M14 to semi and low cap magazines but that's up to the event organizer.

My opinion, not that it means much, would be no. The G-43 wasn't issued on a large scale basis,in other words, it wasn't a "common" weapon. I would SUGGEST picking up a MP-40,as they are fairly inexpensive and correct...
But,like 2nd Bat said, its up to the event organizers..

For the group I play with, it all depends on the type of event we are doing.
If we are doing what we call a Level 3 event, anyone can come with whatever it's more so for fun just airsoft skirmish.
For a Level 2 event - We do not allow any modern gear such as RDS, scopes, Molle vests/ no Cadpat/Marpat or other digital camo. Certain weapon restrictions apply. IE - An M14 strictly semi auto can be used as an M1 Garand/G34
For a Level 1 event, it is strictly WW2. You're uniform must be 90-100% accurate.

It's getting to the point, that a WW2 weapon isn't that hard to get a hold of. For our WW2 events, we are trying to get it down to 100% WW2 weapons and gear. There is no excuse not to, there are so many options at this point between store bought stuff, and custom jobs.
