Tom, you make nice Mausers!
I saw many "totally" fusions between BAR/VSR 10 and kar98K... Is it possible to change just the barrel, and the hop-up unit to VRS/BAR one? And a long nozzle+custom mags to replace the shell-system...
That's a totally theocratical question, beacuse I don't have the base guns... (the Dboys one, and JG too)

Hey thanks! I started attempting to do that once. I stopped because I had no idea how to get a BAR-10 type nozzle onto the kar98 bolt. If someone figured out how I don't see any reasons why it wouldn't work.

So, Dboys one have spring, and cylider in the bolt, and it can be pulled by moving it backwards?
Do you know what type of spring does it have??? Similar to AEG, BAR-10 or something else...
Thanx!

The bolt is pulled by going backwards. Some have said its already too hard to pull pack witho the regular spring but I dunno. I don't know about the spring size I'd have to look. Its probably shorter then the BAR-10 spring as the bolt is small. Check this thread out though: www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/php/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=11756

dboys k98 bolt is forward cocking. Slides back easy all your force is when you push it forward. PITA to cock.

No more than you deserve Let me run something by you. I have been looking for K98 demills and have finally located some dating from about 1937 thru 1944. Unfortunately they are going to run about $300 ea. Other Mausers (Isralie, ect) start from about $48 for the complete stock kit. What are your thoughts on this? Go original or work with some of the others and convert them over to K98's ?

If they don't have the finger drips they shouldn't be too hard to convert. The finger grips are pretty much impossible to completely cover. up.

Are you going to start making more of these? I heard you stopped. I for one would buy one in a heartbeat.

It is ;D. The rifle above is an order I took from when it was in business. I just finished it recently though. Took me forever to build and that's partly why I stopped building them.
