Swiss kit is still very very cheap in the UK, helmets generally cost between £15 and £20 last time i saw them... many live roleplayers buy them as helmets beleive it or not.

I do have one,but its the usual, black with rough texture. Earlier in the 40's they wore a smooth GREEN helmet. I've only seen one on Ebay that was supposedly used in Argentina and its like $300!

The one on ebay is green with a red painted band around it. Supposedly for training purposes. WAY too pricey for me though!

There where 2 colors for maneuvers , RED and LIGHT BLUE , you where either on EJERCITO ROJO ( RED ARMY ) or EJERCITO CELESTE ( LIGHT BLUE ARMY ) , if you look at the photo i posted of the mortar team you'll notice that they belong to LIGHT BLUE ARMY . $300 is way to much , i know where the ARMY Depot is where they keep the obsolete equipment for a national emergency.

I've got one of those mess kits.
I was on holiday in switzerland years ago and a really old guy who owned an antique shop gave it to me after i expressed an interest.
He told me it was his own from his time in the swiss army.
Where it is in the house is another matter...

I have to be what seems a belgium WWII helmet, but more of a swiss curve to it. Not like the m35's or spanish helmets though.

Belgium wore French Adrian helmets early, then US or British helmets while fighting for the Allies.

Actually the Belgian Army used the Belgian manufactured M31 helmet , it just looks similar to the French M26 model but they are different helmets , a lot of people make the mistake of thinking the Belgian helmet is a French Adrian , but it isn't.

I knew they didn't use the same EXACT helmet.
