Hey... I had another idea about a unit for WW2 airsoft... this will also be open to anyone but it will be mainly for those close to the DelMarVa area, but not exluding Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. The british commandos were simply and elite group started in WWII for raiding and attacking german troops and camps. We will portray the No. 7 Commandos. We will use: Colt M1911, Thompson M1A1, Bren, Sten MKII, and Lee Enfield rifles. If you are interested let me know and i will send you some more Information on approved gear... which is a very loose list. THANKS

A step in the right direction! While it is true as Fusilier stated in your previous thread that there are a lot of elite groups such as paras and SS and the basic infantry are underrepresented, so long as you strive for historical accuracy as your unit moves forward you will go far in the community! Just make sure that if you say you are going to do British commando you do your research and portray them correctly and not a menagerie of gear inappropriate for your impression and British commando in name only.

And stay away from the camo if you're doing Brit!

No restraint here. I'd like to do SOE, Partisan or Resistance fighter myself. Have a Sten, looking for a silenced .38 automatic pistol and a rubber Smatchette (or a slim-line OSS dagger). I'd rather be shot or hung, than captured.

No one interested? Guess I missed the party (by 10 years).
