Ok so I'm going to get straight to the point- should I buy an HP ppsh now or try to wait and see what people think of the ARES model? huge dilema.

I have a buddy that got an ARES and I considered one myself. I see the following:
ARES Pros: Well made, a large capacity mag, and well known company. Being distrubuted in the US
ARES Cons: Custom internals High Price
HP Pros: Standard interal parts, ez to upgrade & replace Lower Price
HP Cons: Being sold with a Mid Cap drum mag (110 rds) Hi Cap (600 rd) Drum is a $35 option Not being distributed in the US (that I have found)
There is a rumor that another PPSh-41 will be hitting the market in November ... could it be AGM? Who knows ... should you wait? Who knows ...

It was a tough choice for me as well. The Ares was a little more expensive but readily available over here. The Hexagon was cheaper but had to be ordered abroad. In the end, i went with the HP because the proprietary gearbox and hop chamber of the ARES made me nervous. At least if anything breaks in the HP PPSH, parts won't be hard to find.
