Nope, none that I know of. Things will probably take a bit to spark again so just lay back and relax until way later or early next year.

Yes but atleast we can be sure now. I'd rather have a gas M1 than an aeg because they are more realistic and fun in my opinion. So good news for me, I just hope I won't have to pay $500+ like the 8mm one, then I'll just stick with my conversion aeg M1.

the guarand seems to cost about 765USD in japan from what they wrote, the carbines are around 484 USD and 509 USD its all on the site just needed to make a currency change

Well, ics had a pic of their garand as well, but it's not been confirmed. Plus if it really is coming out I'd prefer an AEG version.

Can't be, that means they bought the price up. I have a marushin 8mm M1 Carbine and it cost me $350 at redwolf airsoft. Unless your talking about the new 6mm version of the M1 Garand and M1/M2 Carbine, but I would'nt think it would be higher in price just because it switched from 8mm ammo to 6mm ammo.

well thats what the currency calculator told me and its probably for the new versions yes. Yeah I tried it myself I guess your right. But it also says that the older version of the M1 Garand was $700+, but yet every store I checked it was around $450 instead. Maybe they just did that so the customers would think that they are getting a discount ;D

Well, if it works out I'm still guessing this will all still unfold much later this year. Hoping, but not really dying for it to happen anymore.

so its 80 USD cheaper (6mm) Actually both the 6mm and 8mm M1 Carbine are $395.00. But when I bought the 8mm off of redwolf it was only $365.00, and this was before they made the 6mm one so that's wierd

Hey, I emailed some of the airsoft dealers and here's what came up Airsoft Extreme and Evike haven't heard anything yet. Airsoft GI has been told that ICS has been producing and will be releasing an M1 Garand AEG in 2011, but when in the year is unknown
Personally, the Gas M1's in my opinion didn't shoot up to par with my M14, and if the AEG sucks, my guess is it's a modified v 7 box that will be like upgrading the m14 so I'm waiting for the AEG

I went all over the ICS site and took a look at what they recently released and projected releases and can find nothing about a M1 Garand. Can anyone show me a factory picture of the M1? Or anything on the ICS website about the Garand? If it is going to be avaliable I would dearly love to buy one.

Yep someone who has contacts with ICS says the company plans to make an Electric M1 Garand soon. Could be within the year could be longer, could be canceled. We'll just have to wait and see.

Ok, I finally found it. My translator misspelled it to Garland. I did not do a dollar conversion but it is going to be about double the cost of the M1 Carbine. With as much activitiy as there is in converting various firearms to Garands there will probably be an affordable gun on the market......maby

Don't hold me to that price. The Japanese website showed the Carbine in the 37,000 yen range and the Garand around 68,000. That will probably change before it ever hits the market. I have been looking at the AGM MP008, M14 electric and want to see if it can be converted into a "blow back" Dunno if there is enough room, but I have picked up a junker and don't mind screwing it up to find out. I will let you know how it turns out in a week or so.

Also the AGM M14's bolt could not handle the stress of a blow back system. I've went through to of the bolts, they are very cheap and brittle.

Here ya go. www.marushin-kk.co.jp/The Garand is a little over 59,000 yen and is the next one after the Carbines. Yahoo and Google both have translators for these sites. Sorry to hear that about the the cheap parts on the M14. I thought I had a new idea One thing about coming up with a "new" idea on this site is that generally at least someone has already tried it.
