Hello all, I would like to put out a note to the Allied troopers.
Nachtrichten Kompanie, 914. Grenadier Regiment will have field phone wire running within this battle zone. We don't mind if the wire is cut, but please try not to cut it more than once. A cut in the line is OK and can be repaired. This wire costs us too much money to keep buying new wire every event. Thanks. Oblt. Kern

Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force: Group Capt. Stagg has promised me a lull in the storms. He predicts the Channel weather should be calm and winds moderate for the jumpers and gliders. All intelligence suggests we will catch Gerry by total surprise, and with Rommel at home celebrating his wife's birthday, we can count on even more bungling by German leaders in the early hours. Reports indicate that the Panzers are still far to the north watching the Pas-de-Calais giving us at least a half day with little to no armor to contend with. Not exactly Ike's quotes, but you get the picture. Please remember to bring all suggested necessary items outline in this thread. Safety is paramount and not to be taken lightly. Registration will start around 4PM and ending around 5:30PM. Safety briefing to follow. I can not stress the importance of the safety briefing as we have new elements for this event. Gerry and I will go over everything in detail, but everyone needs to be present for this. Raffle will either be immediately after the briefing or by end of day on Sunday. Please help support this event by purchasing additional raffles. I would also like to thank all of those that have been extremely helpful in organizing this event. Without all of their hard work, it simply wouldn't have been possible. Tomorrow Dean and I along with the VA 101st will be at the field starting around noon. All those who wish to attend and help out are welcomed. We are hoping to get most of the work done by 5/6PM so we can get some well need rest to start our long but exciting weekend the next day. So with all this being said, Good luck to us all and see you all by Saturday!!

Just thought that I'd point out the civil war soldier with the STG xD
Sorry couldn't resist poking fun at the German cap that looks like a kepi in this photo!
Hope you guys had a whole lot of fun! Yanks look a bit outnumbered.

This picture is actually missing at least half of the US team! Oh I was going to say, how was it 8 vs 23.. It was more like 22 v 24. That photo was taken while most players were scattered throughout 65 acres collecting their gear at the end of day two. What great day!!
