Hey guys, Well, I have another review today. Drum roll.......Marushin Type 14 Limited Edition Late War Model GBB Pistol! Upon opening the box, I found the gun (with magazine in it), bubble wrap, and an exploded diagram (always useful) an allen wrench, some BBs (go ahead and use 'em, they seem fine), and a few cheap freebee items (unjamming rod, target). The pistol, without magazine feels fairly light. The Main body and frame are made of plastic, BUT, the gun feels great and is seamless. My only gripe is that the barrel is terribly wobbly. I'll have to fix that soon. The barrel also has a non removable plastic orange tip and plastic barrel (oh well, it still looks great). It has beautifully colored wooden grips that contrast very well with the "gun metal" colored body. Not orange, but a nice, light brown that screams Japanese beauty. So, after handling it a bit, I loaded up the 9 round 8MM BB magazine with my trusty .45 Gram BBs and headed outside. Due to the currently wobbly barrel, the accuracy wasn't great, but the hopup is effective and does it's job. The thing can knock a can a good 3 feet, not to shabby! Internally, the gun seems good. The bolt is a hunk of aluminum that is simple and I don't see any possible breaking points, most likely because it doesn't have a charging handle or rotating bolt, and it cycles straight back, so all the pressure is on the solid, aluminuim cocking handle I'll post some pictures as soon as I can! Thanks! Cole

Schmozilla, this is the Nambu Type 14 pistol. Describing something as a Nambu is equivalent to describing something as a Browning. To my knowledge, Nambu also made sub-machine guns and regular machine guns, described as Type 100, Type 99, etc.

I had one, it is a fun pistol, but because it is all plastic, very easy prone to damage also the magazine takes duster gas and is very low power, i tried green gas a few times which is double the power.
Internally it is a weird design, loading 8mm bbs is very satisfying its like my model pistols but in the end i sold it because it was not practical for airsoft.
