patrickl29th: Did anyone go to the reading air show in PA? I just got back from it, I recommend going there next year. Jun 8, 2014 21:17:18 GMT -5
antonius agustus: I actually did go to the reading airshow in PA this year, and I thought it went downhill lol. My friends went as a group of reenactors, but I went on my own to meet up with them, BIG mistake. I got kicked out because I had a plastic revolver on my belt >:D Jun 11, 2014 17:39:57 GMT -5
LϟϟAH1944: What group were they in? Jun 11, 2014 18:08:00 GMT -5
antonius agustus: 101st airborne, I do 82nd Jun 13, 2014 15:30:17 GMT -5
wilhelmmoa: Custom vz-24 for sale, PM me Jun 13, 2014 16:22:58 GMT -5
Jerry-ADK: yah Patrick, I contacted the air museum to see if they would let us promote WW2 Airsoft there, and no one ever got back to me. I guess they dont like plastic guns, lol Jun 13, 2014 20:27:38 GMT -5
LϟϟAH1944: I don't think its the guns...I'm pretty certain it sjust mainly a ww2 blankfire event. In addition to that, its for organized units mainly. Jun 14, 2014 1:12:47 GMT -5
antonius agustus: Unless you've registered in a unit, which I didn't think you needed to do (I was wrong), they won't let you in if your in uniform and gear. I'm liking Reading's airshow less and less every year. And Jerry, that's too bad because that was an excellent idea. Jun 16, 2014 15:39:48 GMT -5
patrickl29th: does anyone know were I can get a boneyard d boys kar 98 Jun 16, 2014 17:26:30 GMT -5
antonius agustus: Evike has them from time to time and so does AirsoftMegaStore Jun 18, 2014 16:12:03 GMT -5
LϟϟAH1944: Antonius, they let you in if youre not with a unit- you just cant have weapons. Jun 19, 2014 5:26:37 GMT -5
antonius agustus: It must be a new rule then, definitely don't remember it the last couple years. Jun 22, 2014 12:24:07 GMT -5
Jerry-ADK: Yah, I guess WW2 airsoft isn't what they want at their event. Any other kind of WW2 enthusiast is ok, just not reenactors with bb guns. I guess ill have to join a BF unit if I want to go and period camp. Jun 23, 2014 21:33:22 GMT -5
LϟϟAH1944: The thing is, its not an organized unit. Reading is mainly for larger, organized and established units. Jun 24, 2014 17:18:38 GMT -5
unterfarbfuhrer: Hey. I'm starting out. I only have at the moment a M43 tunic/trousers set, and soon I will have a M40 Helmet. However, since I have no source of income, I need loaner gear. I would need lowboots and gaiters, leather belt and y-straps, and a breadbag. Jun 29, 2014 22:08:55 GMT -5
unterfarbfuhrer: If it is alright, could I just use a East German canteen? Like I said, I have no source of income, so my hands are tied behind my back. Jun 29, 2014 22:09:57 GMT -5
unterfarbfuhrer: Foot size is 9 for reference Jun 29, 2014 22:28:44 GMT -5
Jerry-ADK: Unterfarbfuhrer, where are you located? Jul 1, 2014 12:44:40 GMT -5
patrickl29th: Do you use a m14 socom for a m1 Garand conversion or just a regular m14? Jul 1, 2014 13:16:32 GMT -5
ssgjoe: Unterfarbfurher, what you could do is get an East German canteen than start to replace it with period correct stuff. First thing I would swap out would be to swap it for a wool cover, than a cup, then strap, and finally the flask. Jul 1, 2014 19:20:29 GMT -5
