It's all because of paypal's anti-nazi (or something like that) rule. He won't show it, and shows that goofy photo and even blurs out swastikas, but he sends them with the uniform/hat anyway as a "gift" you have to sew on. Currently, he is having a bit of trouble now (although it may be resolved) of his account being suspended by paypal because of him selling these Nazi items. Contact him if you'd like to place an order.

Excuse me if I'm necromancing this thread. I've been stalking these forums as a non-member for a couple of weeks now, searching for information regarding the quality of M42 Greatcoats from Hiki and GavinMilitaria. Do any of you gentlemen have experiences regarding their greatcoats? I noticed that what Hiki advertises as an M42 greatcoat is in fact a Wachmantel (horizontal pocketflaps + extra set of pockets), however that's not my main concern as the teams I play airsoft in aren't too serious about historical accuracy. I'm more curious about the quality of the wool they use and the sizing. I'm looking for one that has the smoother wool (vonRaytoven mentioned Hiki's coats are thinner), that isn't so itchy and heavy. I'd be very thankful for any information.

I'd be very thankful for any information. I've ordered their normal wool uniforms and they're great, a little on the thin side, which is ok, considering where I play it gets hot in the summer and isn't unbearable though I still stay nice and toasty in the winter months when it reaches about 10 degrees, but I've also had the uniform for 2 years and no rips or tears. The sizing chart is a little weird, I'm 6'3'' and 240lbs (so about average) and I use the XXL (though in American sizes I wear a L-long) but since they don't do "long" sizes I had to go a size (or two) up.

Thanks gunslinginotaku, very informative! I heard good things about the quality of Gavinmilitaria stuff, however I also heard bad things about the service (long waiting times, need to remind seller about the order etc.). I heard good stuff about Hiki, but nothing about their greatcoats specifically. I'm gonna go with Hiki, and when it arrives I'll do a little pictorial review for y'all!

The reason web sites frequently don't show emblems from WW2German items is that there are many countries (especially in Europe) where SS emblems, and swaztikas are illegal to buy and sell or in some cases to display.

I doubt he used paypal, as he wouldn't even need to worry about bank details if he did. Sounds to me like you've entered a fake link or something when entering the shop. To be perfectly honest it's a stupid thing using bank transfer or similar methods when paypal is available. I've ordered from Hikishop several times (most recently in june) and I've never had any problems.

I've ordered twice from Hikishop this summer, using Paypal. No problem. Of course foulups occasionally happen with anyone. Dealing with a store on the other side of the pond can make it worse.

I use Hiki often. A friend of mine has custom-ordered stuff from Hiki several times. It's a great shop. Regarding their greatcoats, the wool is also on the thin side but they are darn good. Simply.

I'm a size 58 for hats.Should I size up from Hiki's caps?Plus I wear between 30-32 pants so I guess I have to size up from theirs too.

Resurrection!!!
Looking to order wool m40 tunic from hiki. Wondering if anyone has any experience with A.) what their "top wool" thing means and B.) How accurate their sizing info is. I am totally fine with thin wool. For instance their size Small is a 44.1 inches, measured out thats a little big on me. So should I regard that as accurate or "Size up" and get the Medium at 46.1? Anyone got anything helpful?
Please and thank you.

It seems to me the problem was that their letter size (S, M, L, XL)didn't really match what I expected. Their measurements seemed to be on.

Yeah I guess now they seem to get the measurements right.I bought an M44 a size larger just in case.Instead I find that it is slightly bigger on me and not snug in the sides and armpit.Their wool is good though.

Well, Hiki Wool m40 tunic and m42-3 trousers are in. Sizing on their site seems to be accurate, I ordered a M in pants and a S in the tunic size. Both fit great, the shoulder boards are a little thin but for the price I can't complain.

Next time when it comes to wool tunics of theirs I'm going to order my true size. Its a good site if you don't want to get a stitch-by-stitch impression but still want to look authentic.I would definitely buy from there.Just be sure to order their extended size gamaschens.

I ordered an M43 Reinforced Airborne uniform, only thing is that I placed the order a couple weeks prior... to the Chinese New Year! Hopefully I´l get everything in a couple weeks. Either that or I´ll end up with a couple oversized orca whale bikinis on account that a chinese friend of mine told me that everything goes wild during the New Year festivities and that it takes around two weeks for the whole of China to sober up and get their act together!

I've ordered things from China, before and during the CNY, never had any problems. They do, however, all close up shop for a week or so, and then they have deal with catching up on a backlog of orders. So, it might take longer, but your order should be good. Hopefully....

a couple weeks after CNY has passed, and no word on the Hiki guy whatsoever... I´ll wait for another one before going into "unsattisfied customer with access to the Chinese Chamber of Commerce" mode. Any recomendations on how to deal with Hiki? is there a "refund" option or some other "pressure" method you guys recomend?

Not sure if EMS is the problem. I chose "Best way", but if the guy hasn't shipped it yet, then it doesn't matter what shipping thing you chose. This is out of my experience. Hopefully someone here who has ordered from Hiki more can be of assistance, sorry.
