It's a Stahlhelm , hard to tell which model since it has a cover.

Hm. i think its maybe a M42, because the rear isnt that round.

My best guess would be that it is a M45 helmet. Now before any of you go bananas saying "there wasn't any M45 helmet dumb a_ _" , wait. There were plans to make a M45 helmet, which would have been put into production if the war continued. Very few were made and they have become very hard to find. Basically it is a über-simplified helmet with hardly any liner. Some of them were supposed to have a special attachments, such as a new model Vampir Nachtjaeger sight-but I cannot confirm this myself. I actually own a reproduction of the Leibermuster camo uniform, and its pretty cool. If you look at it thru the Vampir it is very, very distorted. How do I know, I have a Vampir.

I have seen an M45; It is COMPLETELY different, similar to the East german helmets. On wehrmacht Awards Forum, there was one. In that pic, it is most likely an M42. Also, It either has an oak A or Platane helmet cover
