Any 101st in the greatkales/midwest? I'd love to hop on a unit, and roll with you guys. I'm from Michigan, but don't mind traveling short distances for decent games/hangouts. I also love to travel to large games given enough time to prepare obviously...
Hit me up if you know of anything!

I really only saw 1 person rocking 101st gear... Kind of disappointed with the shotguns, mac10's, and other modern weapons.... Looks...interesting.

We are working on it. Its hard to find people interested in getting the right gear. The more dedicated people we get the faster we will bring authenticity levels up.

We have a lot of WW2 "reenactors" up here. Meaning the guys who use real weapons. Though many reenactors view airsoft as a bit silly or not worthwhile compared to reenacting with real guns. It is almost like the Airsoft vs Paintball thing. Its even harder to get people from the reenacting world when are athenticity levels are on the lower side. That said we do have a few reenactors from the real steel side of things interested. I do reenacting with real weapons myself.
We do have several members who have the correct gear and weapons just not all of them do.

Echelon: Why don't you join in swell the ranks of the well kitted and show the others what a real impression should look like. That's a positive way to contribute to a scene.

I would sure love to. Unfortunately I won't be able to make any games in August, but I will definitely be attending several events this fall, and hopefully a couple this winter before I ship out.
Any websites to get ahold of local reenactors? I am looking to get involved with both scenes here in Michigan.

Updated the thread. I would really love to join up with anybody in the great lakes region, but preferably Michigan. Anybody?
