Hi, I was wondering whether there are any cheap alternatives (Cheap meaning $400 Max) for a Browning M1919 machine gun. I don't think that i can make my own, for I live in Hong Kong, and do not have the supplies. I would really appreciate any reply.

You can download plans for the browning. You can build it out of PVC or sheet metal, and use the m14 or m249 gearbox. What do you mean you don't have the supplies? You live in Hong Kong, airsoft mecca of the world!
The plans are very detailed and easy to follow. Google killbucket's browning m1919.

I have a complete set of the parts all cut out and ready for final assembly including all the screws and needed bits and parts and a barrel pre assembled ready to build a M1919. I cut the parts out in the appropriate thickness of ABS according to Killbuckets plans. I have built five of these for my own use and just never got around to finishing this final one. I have another nearly completely cut out as well.
In spite of the suggestion that it's a simple build taping the patterns onto the plastic and then cutting and drilling them into viable parts is actually quite time consuming even with a coping saw.
The final assembly once the parts are cut out is rather like a big model. The end results look quite good and can be set up to be a nice functioning M1919. Any way you shake it however it's a ton of work. Not hard but time consuming.

The AIBS sheets required are actually pretty affordable as are the screws, bolts, tubing, paint and ABS glue. It all adds up but is nothing compared to the time required even with the blueprints and components on hand. There is reason Killbucket went out of business even selling the finished guns at $550.00
