Bought an ICS M3, couldnt help myself. Much as I hate to admit it, got it from Evil-ike for 20%. For the gun, battery, and extra mag it came to $220 with shipping. Not too bad. After getting the gun together and charging the ICS built battery, I was impressed with this little gun. It shot at about 350 FPS, hight ROF, and was accurate well out 150'. My pre skirmish impression:Nice gun, it's got some heft, should be a good skirmisher. Only time will tell. I'll bring this to Operation Cutlass in Febuary in Virginia and give you and update in late Feb. Couple of minor points, that don't really detract too much for me, but might bother others: - plastic trigger housing - battery install is not a quick endeavor - black color. Since I was not happy with the color, within the four hours of opening the box, I changed the color, to a grey-green parkerized look. I used industrial grey tool paint as the base coat. after opening the gun up, taping off internals, and removing the sight I shot two light coats of grey. Once that was dry, I gave the gun a light misting of green industrial primer. The only external part I did not paint was the SerNo of the gun, as those are individualized, and my gun is under 500. and the battery door, as it was already tight, and I did not want to bind it up. Maybe down the road if the battery door loosens, I'll give it a once over. Outside the green hue comes through and little better.

Looks great. I am definitely going to "parkerize and age" mine as well.

Thanks for posting this ... Inspired me too … I didn't like the stark black of my ICS M3 Grease Gun so I "parkerized" it with some model paint (Testor's Model Masters Euro Gray I + dullcote to seal). While the photo's show a "blue" tint to it ... it is gray with a hint of green color in real life ... Also shown are the batteries I use for it ... 1 - 7.4v 1800 mAh Lipo and 2 - 7.4v 800 mAh Lipo's ... they work great and fit very well into the back of the gun. Now, if they only had some mid-caps for it
