Since the SRC model is no longer available (from what I know), which of the 2 is better?

Essentially the same thing. Cybergun just re-brands the AGM model.
Either of these can be very hit or miss. Since they are so cheap, TLC isn't really a huge burden on the wallet.

Literally, the Cybergun sticks a sticker on the AGM haha! Mine is inaccurate, may fit an AK hop in it.

I saw this and that was my inspiration, thanks for the link though! I have not really had any issues with the MP40 other than range/accuracy and magazines being low cap.

Both of my AGM ones broke. One just has had never-ending wire problems, the other started to smoke, so motor died. Want a good gun, then get the MP44

MP40's aren't that bad in my opinion. The piston stripped on mine but that was an easy fix. My friend has had his for about 3 years and its still working. The only problem he has encountered is the magazine isn't feeding well anymore. He says the nub that pushes the BB up is worn down to almost nothing.
