I'd say better than the mosin because the gas will be in the magazine, not the bolt. that's why they can claim 30 stable shots with one gas fill. You can't achieve that with a gas in the bolt system.

Hopefully they will make extra magazines. Too bad its not a springer. Better then nothing though.

Oh it's a clone of the Tanaka, the internals are different. And the fps on this one is low enough for skirmishing

If it works well $300 is well worth it. Someone might clone it with a plastic stock version too. That is cheaper then any other skirmishable K98 out there and that is really only the Tanaka K98 as the G&G K98 hasn't proved to be reliable.

Agreed, I just hope for a plastic version, I cannot afford these guns!

If it comes with the dual claw mount and scope... that alone is worth the price they're charging. I'd be very curious to see how this holds up in field conditions (because the price seems to suggest the heavy presence of pot metal...)

I emailed airsoftpanada asking about the inclusion of a scope. Here it is:
Dear sir, This new product is in production and it is without scope, we will develop a scope for it, so you can place pre-order first in out webiste system.
A scope will be made! Hopefully a ZF39 and not just the ZF41.

They do a nice job tricking people, Why put it in the description that it comes with a scope? And in the picture. Not buying from AirsoftPanda

Hopefully a ZF39 and not just the ZF41. Disappointing but not unexpected. Either way, I'd just go the accumounts route for the mounts, since they don't know the definition of pot metal, and it's guaranteed not to snap when you inevitably drop it in the field (ask me how I know that... but wait until I push the broken ZF4 scope deeper under the pile of junk in the workshop before you ask...) As for the 39, I dunno... it's a scope that not a lot of folks are aware of, and it's just plain easier to do a 41 knockoff, since there are already a few of them out there. Would be nice to see a few airsoft high turrets running around though...

That's why I always email and ask questions before buying. And that's just a stock photo. A lot of companies do that to make their products more appealing.
