Looking to join up with some Fallschirmjagers in Washington. I live in Gig Harbor and I am new to airsoft. I would like to either join a group or maybe help start one.

Washington State through Battlesim has one of the most active and coordinated WW2 airsoft groups in the country (if not the largest) and it is HQd in Tacoma. Their events are the most formalized I've seen so far with a ways to go for the precise authenticity some people strive for but they are pretty darn good and always getting better. Their scenario and props are the best I believe. They had a tank at their last WW2 airsoft event (Long Winter) and a turnout of 60 plus guys. (In sub freezing weather!)
Emphasis given to note J's opinion on what he believes. LEts all play nice on the playground boys.~AAD

Wow, I missed all the excitement. I've been talking with some of the Battlesim guys and they're cool. So things are in the air there. Still testing the waters though. If there is anyone that's in Gig Harbor or in the immediate vicinity other than in Tacoma (Got that area covered), drop me a line and we can talk.

Contrary to what people often believe. I am not a team member of Battlesim or a partner in his promotional company. I happen to be a huge fan of their efforts. We do partner for the Vietnam themed RECONDO school and I attend most of his WW2 events. He does a great job with his living history airsoft efforts and that is certainly not intended to be a dig on any other groups events. As I've mentioned before, it took alot of effort and time to build up to the scale he's able to create and I applaud him for it along with everyone else out there that is helping to make this grow.
