OK, I have asked this before in the ww2 reenactor forums: Is there any chance that the WW2AA established a unit in Puerto Rico? There aren't any units of any kind of reenacting here , well there is a 1700's unit but my interest is in ww2 I have been trying to make one from the ground up but it's hard and I haven't had any luck. Anyways there are A LOT of airsofters here. Some of them like the idea but the reasons given to me for not starting a group are: no, we cant do that because we don't have the age required to join the army, or, I would but it's too expensive. So what I am focused on now is completing my impression to see if the others get a little more motivated. I alredy have the helmet, pistol belt, machete, some paperwork, garrison caps and I just bought the first aid pouch with the carlisle bandage inside and am waiting to buy the leggings. Well, any thoughts? Thanks

I just went to Tampa, FL. There's an Army Navy surplus store there and I visited it. I went ahead and asked an employee if they had any WW2 items. He said no. My hopes were destroyed. So anyways, I started to look around the store and found the following: P38 can opener cushioned sole socks jeep cap mess kit knife(stamped, not forged) handkerchief M-1943 folding shovel canteen cup (not WW2 style ) german(1964 dated) shovel (wich I tought was same as the ww2 design) but I'm no expert machete The sailors hat(the round one) M-1 Garand bayonet Mk-2 pineapple grenade(short spoon unfortunately) .50 caliber rounds some sort of cannon rounds dated 1943 class A's uniforms M 1 helmets Those are some of the items that I found. I'm sure there are more but they're well hidden.(I only spent two hours in the store) I also went to Walmart and my uncle bought me a zippo lighter. (I don't know if it's correct as there was a limited variety and I went for the chrome colored one) Oh, I forgot, the store's name is: "Headquarters Army Navy Stores" P.S. Don't believe everything a store clerk says
