So the TSLFx are not only sold for high prices, reaching around $13 for the stick grenades, plus shipping, plus the pyrotechnics charge, that and I cannot use them due to drought conditions, anyone have a better idea for good hand grenades for a good price? There are those ones with the exploding 4 shells, but I haven't seen those in a positive light, but there are also those Thunder B's that can be filled with bb's and made to fire, such as this video, www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkHnBY8Tz1M. I'm thinking about doing what they did, does anyone have any experience with doing that, or any BETTER ideas?

im a moderator on airsoft retreat and one of our staff in the private forum is the owner of mil-sim labs. a couple years ago he made for me 2 blue rubberized foam potato masher grenades. inside is a small cavity that holds a little alligator snapper type thing. tied to that is a string and tethered to the grenade. it uses one of those little snap caps used in a cap gun. when the grenade is thrown. when the shock of impact happens, out yanks out that alligator snapper and snaps the cap and a loud pop happens. it doesn't get lost since its tethered and i specifically asked for it to be molded in a "find me" blue color. he can do other colors as well. i think tan color would more casual. i have 2 so far and can take pictures if you like. they are to spec in size, but not in weight obviously. he also uses the same material to make shovels to be used as knife kills.
on a side note. he did some mortar rounds for my japanese type 89 knee discharger. they are of the french m1935 type i believe and there is another one. i forget the name at the moment. some are a spongy solid and some have a cavity that holds a plastic pill shaped container that splits open with a powder upon impact to help create a cloud effect. though it does affect its aerodynamics.
