So I was looking through this book that I got at a book store a while ago. It's a collection of everything that the Allies wore and used in WWII. As I was flipping through, something caught my eye. It was the British Airborne unit. I'm thinking that I might want to do this and was wondering where I could find good repros.

onlinemilitaria.net/shopexd.asp?id=1782&bc=noAffordable for North Americans. Not the best out there but far from the worst. Challenge is getting the "correct" weapon. Sten MKV's and SMLE No. 4 are rare birds in the airsoft world.

Can that package be sold in pieces?

Yup, everything in that package can be bought separately. Just browse the site.

There's a good thread around here somewhere. The WPG Denison is not that great, but it's relatively inexpensive and available. The package deal has just about everything you need, I got it when I started my impression. I dare say it's worth saving a bit for it.
There isn't a really good option in terms of weaponry, the AGM Sten is your best bet.

Well you see, I'm not planning on doing this for another year or so because right now I have a pretty good 101st impression going. But when the time comes, I will make myself a Lee Enfield No.4 and will have a grand ol' time.

www.1944airborne.com (aka sofmilitary.co.uk) makes an excellent Denison smock in 3 types. It is comparable to ones made that cost 3 times as much. I believe it sells for £100 and is close in quality to Denison's that go for £300. Shipping from the UK seems to match their VAT charge (which we outside of the UK are exempt from). The only hitch is the sizes are only good for men 6'1" and under ( more like < 6' ) I had one and sold it as it looked miniature on my 6'3" frame. 2 inches makes a difference. The WPG ones need aging / tea bath? / dirt / filth to look better in the field as the colour is arguably wee bit off as they sell them without any pre-wash. However they do have better sizing for taller men.
