Has anyone figured a way to mount a camera to Heer gear? I tried zip tieing it to the side of my MP40 and it didn't work to well, thought about the helmet, but that was bad. It's a Kodak Playfull, pretty small little thing (3 fingers wide, slightly longer than my middle finger) and my gear doesn't seem to have a good place to mount. Any ideas concerning safety as well as good footage?

You could build a case for it out of appropriate materials and affix a fastener to attach it to your gear.

You could disguise it as a ww2 german flashlight, and put it on your tunic.

If you were to invest in a Contour HD (they get really cheap 120$ish) around Christmas time every year. You can affix it to the goggle strap, Y Strap, Shoulder Board you can even buy a RIS adapter, and zip tie it on to an MP40, STG44, PPSh with great ease providing you get a tiny piece of rail.
