I'd love to come, but I dont have pants. All I have are the one pair I've worn for the past 3 events, the ones that are pretty much torn in half. What make and size do you need? If their yours, I very seriously doubt they're going to fit. Around a 42 if you have them. It's not a huge deal what make. M36, M40, M43 trousers, feldgrau, steingrau, doesn't matter. (I don't believe)

I have an M40 that is either a 40 or 42 that I am sure will fit. Just show up and all will be good :-). We should be at the field Friday around noon if you wanted to pass by. If not we can fit them just before the night missions.

Awesome! I'm in! I'll be there shortly before 5. I also just realized that Blank fire is no longer allowed, and my mp40 is down D: If anyone has a weapon I can borrow, I have batteries and ammo, and I can pay a bit of a rental fee if need be . I would prefer a K98, but anything will do. If nobody has anything, I'll just use my luger, I'll be there no matter what.

!Achtung
[/b] For all those that will be present for the night-time activities. If you have room please bring some wood to help keep some roaring fires going. If you do not have any at home, one of those packs from the grocery stores will do great. Depending on how much wood we have we will have one or two big fires going to help illuminate the camp and add to the ambiance.

so their will be night fighting on Friday? And if there is what time should we start to come up Yes, night fighting on Friday. Coming up any time after 5PM would be good. Night fighting will probably not start until around 6 or 7PM. We have a few not arriving until 8PM but they will be considered reinforcements. Goal of the night fighting will be for the Allies to sabotage a strategic German location near the German camp (Strategic target will be revealed Friday night). Goal of the Germans is to enjoy a nice evening around a camp fire with music and good food oblivious of the impending Allied incursion. Of course this is a heavily fortified German camp, so expect the usual search lights, flares and occasional German patrols during the night. We do have extra room in the tents for 3 additional parties if anyone needs a roof to sleep under in case you do not have a tent. Just bring a wool blanket or sleeping bag and you will be all set.

Are you guys going to stay over night even thought it may rain or snow a little? Weather calls for Sunny, high 40's with only 10% chance of rain. No worries Nick.

Are you guys going to stay over night even thought it may rain or snow a little? Rain is less then 10%, you have a better chance of winning at the lottery than getting rained on Weather for Friday night looks perfect, 36 degrees, which in past experiences is very comfortable inside a tent. Saturday in the 40's and sunny, could not ask for better.

Just finished the night fighting and it was a blast. We went for about 1:45 before it started to rain. Cryonics had a great campsite set up and a really good objective for the Allies to achieve.
There were some great KIA's and good fire fights and grenade kills. Dean got killed 3 times by grenades, one that actually hit him in the head before it went off! Very funny. Dean was all over the field and actually made it to the objective but he couldn't seem to light the fuse for the objective and that's when he got hit in the head with the frag.
Nick was on guard duty and decided to wander out beyond the wire and got lit up by 3 of us. He was screaming "nicht schießen" and something else in German, so we kept shooting. He should realize we don't speak German! ;D
Looking forward to Saturday.
Hope everyone makes it.
Migs

Yes, Dean certainly seemed to be a magnet for my grenades. Sorry about the one off your noggin.
